My husband and I came here for dinner on Saturday and were greeted and seated right away. The restaurant is pretty and spacious. Nice modern vibes with really good music! Our waiter was nice and got our orders quickly. The plus is that they have happy hour on Saturday as well from 5 to 6:30 (weekdays HH from 4:30-6:30). The HH menu was pretty limited, some sushi/sashimi and basic sushi rolls. Hot sake was only $7 and was pretty good.
Food- We ordered the tuna and yellowtail sashimi, which were really fresh. The spicy tuna roll was standard. We got the Lahaina roll which was riceless but we didn't think that so much of it would be thick cucumber wrap. There was not much fish given it's a $21 roll. The cucumber was overwhelming everything else. We wanted to try other rolls but given that we have wheat allergies there weren't many choices. Maybe they're better known for other rolls.
Overall, service was great but we weren't very impressed with the food.

Amazing sushi!!! I tried monkfish liver. Beautiful presentation. Guns and roses was tasty as was the toro. Try the yummy cocktails too.

Kotta was fantastic! We had a great dinner, a bunch of tasty rolls and good ambiance. Definitely a good choice for sushi! Bottles of wine were also 30% off.

Love this place! Warm atmosphere & yiulolove the genuine kindness of the staff. Saki was so smooth & don't get me started on the sea bass!

Visited the place last night and I hope they figure it out. The sushi is terrible not just flavor wise but even the wrapping. I would suggest they get a new sushi chef. They're pairing of flavors aren't very good. There lobster signature sushi dish was essentially just doused in Japanese mayo, pretty much you can eat rubber and taste the same. Only good item was there lobster dumplings. Service needs a lot of help. No help for 15 minutes. Food came out and still no drinks. Never asked for another round. I'm being brutally honest hoping they fix these issues for it would be great to have a sushi place in the union building.

Heard about a new sushi restaurant in Dallas so decided to try it out this past weekend. Upon walking in I loved the modern design of the place and was greeted immediately by the staff. The sushi was fresh and delicious and the recommended rolls were very well-made! A great new spot for good sushi and cool ambiance. Definitely will be going back soon for more.
