I always eat Golden Chick, and 9xs out of 10 the food is really good and i always seem to have more than enough. I always get the 3 or 4 piece chickenstrips and my choice of dipping sauce is their gravy, as my side option mashed potatoes w/gravy and sub my drink for an extra side, which i choose fries, it comes with 1 roll but i add another. Most of the time they throw in extra strips and its more than enough to be completely full.
But, with that being said ive also have learned that coming to this location particularly, i must check my bag. Time after time it seems they have forgot something, be it my extra roll, one of my sides, plasticware or the gravy for my strips. I've also have ordered theough Uber and my meal was not complete so in return, defeating the purpose of Uber, i had to drive up there just to receive what they had forgotten. However, never had a problem getting the meal corrected. Thats my only complaint and ever since ive learned to look before driving away, no problems.

My 5 year old son & I frequent this location after we visit the Children’s Aquarium at Fair Park (which is quite often) - we LOVE it! The food is consistently good, the atmosphere is fun for my son (he enjoys watching the cute videos on the tvs and playing the “chicken game” - he’s won 3 chicks lol), and the employees are usually so great & friendly. Our favorite employee to see is Cameron!! He’s always SO professional, nice & friendly to the customers, us included. I’m not sure if he’s a manager, but he strikes me as one because he always acts like such a leader. Keep up the great biz you have over there - it’s one of our favorite mom/son traditions!

Food was great. Mac n cheese is the best. They just run out of it so fast and sometimes you'll sit in a long line in the drive thru and the mac n cheese is all gone. So in my opinion it's best if you go inside and ask if they have any Mac n cheese it'll definitely save you some disappointment.
