Went for the new brunch service and it was amazing! The banana praline pancakes were absolutely amazing. The caramelized sugar on top of the bananas was brilliant. These pancakes were delicious and fluffy, and the praline sauce was sweet without being overwhelming. Perfect. The chilaquiles breakfast plate was the perfect combination with the sweetness of the pancakes. This sweet and savory combo should be on your to do list, today.

What an absolute gem!! I’ll be coming back here again and again. The flakiest croissants you’ve ever tasted, guaranteed. We got some baked goods, two Turkish lattes, the praline pancakes, vegetable hash, and the pork belly sandwich, and they were all absolutely phenomenal. 11/10

Outstanding breads, and baked goods. They have a large selection of pastries. They also serve sandwiches and coffee. The iced Turkish coffee was good, but beware, it is a sweetened. It is in an unpretentious setting, and is definitely a local gem. You will not go wrong coming here and you will leave with more than you intended to get.

This has become a Sunday staple…. The pork belly sandwich and Nashville hot chicken sandwich is quite possibly one of the best sandwiches I have had respectively. Not to mention the favorites are the pastries. The churro cruffin is a must have. They do have shorter hours during the week day and menu varies a little. The staff are super friendly and accommodating. The atmosphere is homey, catch up with old friends vibe.

Love this place!!! Everything is always so fresh consistent, and delicious! We are lucky to have a bakery this good, near by! Sometimes the line is long, but it moves so quickly, so don’t let that deter you from visiting.

I held a private event at La Casita in early December celebrating my birthday. What a great experience we had. Everyone raved about the food, especially the pastries and the potatoes. Thanks to Elizabeth for coordinating a wonderful event. I'm confident that all attendees are now fans.

Love the sourdough here! Also coffee is not bad :) I also got the crispy potato sandwich which was fun! Maybe more sauce next time but not as dry as some other reviews say. I like the almond croissant as well. I’d be down to try their other drinks as well.

Overall a nice, spacious bakery. I recently read an article that said this was one of the best bakeries in the entire US! So I had to give it a try since it was local to me. They have a large indoor seating area as well as outdoor wooden picnic tables if you like to sit outside to enjoy your pastries. There was a long line when I got there, around noon, and so much of their bread that they had on the stands were completely sold out. They sell sandwiches and drinks as well as a limited selection of baked pastry goods, which are constantly changing. My biggest pet peeve was that there was no menu for the baked goods and there were no prices. I hate surprise fees/prices, so not being able to see how much each item cost really annoyed me. I was told all the pastries were around $3-$5, but I want to actually see the cost. The only prices you can actually see was for the drink menu... The pastries I chose were good. They were nice and flaky, and the selections I picked weren't overly sweet which I really appreciate. I will say there are many other bakeries out there that I think are relatively comparable to their store with potentially cheaper or similar pricing, so I think it's worth coming at least once to try, but I'm not sure if I'll come back consistently.

La Casita is the best bakery in Texas. I try to make my order every month. Their pastries (specially the Almond Croissant) are out of this world. Their Sourdough bread (boule & loaf) is the best I’ve try so far. I always order two and put them on the freezer, that way they lasts the entire month. Their Kouign-amann are the BEST, and my FAVV!! The sandwiches are delicious. I mean, what else I can say... La Casita is my favorite bakery.

We went to La Casita Bakeshop in Richardson today. Nominated recently for the prestigious James Beard award for best baker & bakery, this place has been on my list of restaurants to visit for a while. Oh my was it worth it! With a continuous line of people out the door and opening at 10 on Saturday, their selection of baked goods, coffee and sandwiches was extensive and made it hard to make a decision. Go!
