Review Bbbop - Dallas

Lynnae Metteauer
I am new to Korean food and this Korean fusion place was ah-mazing! I came back the same week to try more. I had the Orange Bop Chicken. It was perfectly seasoned and the rice was the best rice I’ve ever had, hands down. My second visit, I tried Not Your Mama’s Chicken and it did not disappoint! That flavor was so dang delicious! I also tried the local draft beer they had on tap. It was smooth and refreshing! Perfect for a hot summer day. The vibe in the place was on point! A great place to go with a group of friends or family. Prices are reasonable. Service was great!

Honestly it was a really great place to eat we definitely will come back! Food was very tasty, hot, and good portions. A family of (5) 50.00, the atmosphere was peaceful, nice music, and the guy at the register was very helpful and patient since it was out first time eating here! I really was going to only give it 4 stars because it was a little messy and tables were dirty and didn’t have too many places to sit but don’t let that stop you from visiting, they looked a little short handed, the same guy at register took care of it afterwards, and looked neat in the souring area, there is worse places with worse services, and this one hit the spot I’m very specific when it comes to trying new places but this will be added to our list of good food!😌😌

Have been coming to this place for a while and they never fail!! If you don’t like the menu you could even create your own! Very tasty and fresh tasting/looking veggies with all the flavor, recommend!

Wow everything was amazingly delicious. The Korean glass noodles with tofu were also very tasty. We didn’t have room for dessert - will have to try another time. Thanks to the lady who took our order for her suggestions and recommendations. Good cocktails also.

Had the wings and a drink they were well seasoned and worth the price a little bit pricey for a few wings but it took me to flavor town.

The rice bowls here are really good! It was my first time at this place and I wasn’t disappointed. I tried the spicy spicy bowl and it was delicious. My son tried the Seoul fire wings but they weren’t even spicy. Will definitely try a different flavor next time. The wings themselves were cooked perfectly so no complaints there. The vibe was nice and chill, and the place was clean. I can’t wait to try this place again, will definitely go back!

Visited this place for the first time and loved the food. We ordered the hot stone dishes and everything was good. Just be careful that the food and dish is hot. Be careful with little ones. The place is cozy and staff was helpful. You must order at the front and they will bring your food to you. Try the flavored ice tea. Delicious! Restrooms are cleaned. The place is in bishop arts districts and the neighborhood has evolved into a fun place for all ages.

This is my first time in Dallas, and first restaurant I have been in Dallas. We are two people went for dinner and it costed us around $35. We ordered chicken and dumpling bop, and other is some pork bop. Both are delicious, and spicy. They are perfectly made. I’ve never been to Korean restaurant before, and after this now I’m looking for more Korean food. The ambience is great, and everything is tidy around. They have several flavors of big macroons which are priced $7.50. They taste great, and worth it. On the downside, you can’t find many parking spots, and yeah it’s Dallas, we can’t expect more for parking.

Very glad to have found this spot, the food was delicious! This area has a lot of options, might explain why it’s a little pricey, I’m glad to say it stands out!

I was traveling to Dallas, for work, and used both Google and Yelp for places to eat. I love Asian food and this popped up. Reviews were good and it was close, also on my route to my destination, so away I went. I was a little skeptical at first, as I drove through some rougher sides of town (based on where I was coming from), but could see the gentrification of the street as I got closer. Parking was easy and I was on,y one of three people at the location at that time. The clerk was friendly and assisted me with my choice, since I was not familiar with their menu. Food was quick to arrive and warm. However, there was a lot more rice than veggies or chicken. It had decent flavor and the fire sauce was mild and not too spicy. Overall, it was a good experience and I would most likely return, if I was in town or work again.

Second time back and again, did not disappoint! The Get In My Belly, Pork Belly is the dish of choice. Kim Chi fries are a must.

This was my first visit, and I can’t wait to return! I noticed their sign said voted best fried chicken in Dallas. I take such claims with a grain of salt, but i am convinced it IS the best fried chicken in Dallas and possible the universe.

Love the design of this location. Very homey and welcoming. Staff was very polite and food was excellent. Just be aware that this is NOT traditional Korean food. It's a fusion place, but that doesn't mean it's not delicious!

Tried this place out for lunch. The food was excellent! I ordered the fried chicken which was amazing. We also got the steak and rice bowl. Everything was delicious and brought out to us rather quickly. We will gladly return and excited to try new dishes!

We got the Orange Bop and the Korean fried chicken to split, it was great, I was stuffed but wanted to keep eating. I tried all the sauce squirters, but settled on something sweet fire, I can't remember the name. It was some of the best fried chicken ive had, but keep in mind, it's closer to orange chicken then southern fried. Bibimbop was very flavorful, and even though I was unsure about the Orange, I really liked it.

Love this place!! Hasn't disappointed yet! The best part is that I found a place close by and the kids love it too.

Stopped in to review bbbop and was shocked at how awesome it was. Infused goodness, on point cuisine, cooked to perfection with super fresh ingredients, and a very freindly staff. Atmosphere is fun, colorful, fresh, and clean. I love the call singing button for service. Awesome place keep it up! #chowwithtrey

First time here...Delicious! Had Korean pork tacos with cabbage and cilantro, and curry spiced fries. Also had a side order of kimchi fries topped with jalapenos and a fried egg! Everything was great...even the mint green tea lemonade!

Ever since our first visit to Dallas we have really enjoyed this food. We ran into Bbbop by accident and haven’t stop going ever since. Our best picks are their famous chicken and the refreshing teas.

Asked the guy taking our order for suggestions since I always get the same thing. His suggestion was amazing and descibed just like he said! We love this place.
Kathy Lynn Jones
Good food but the rice bowl didn't have enough meat or broccoli. There were only about 7 or 8 small pieces of meat and only 2 or 3 pieces of broccoli. Flavors were great though!

My cousin and I thoroughly enjoyed our first visit to Bbbop yesterday. The staff was friendly and engaging. The vibe was super chill too. I'm not too adventurous with my food selection, so I went with the orange chicken and my cousin went with wings. Both dishes were delicious! We will definitely be back!

This place is fantastic! The food is great, the owners are genuinely great people, and I'm always so happy to be here.
