Loved it! I picked up Basanti Pulao, Shukto and Rui Kaliya. The Pulao and Kaliya were too good. The Shukto was nice as well. And, they gave extra bori bhaja at my request too! I'm sold. Already recommended it to all my Bengali friends here in Texas. Do give it a try!
Ps: I'm a little sad that they don't deliver to my zip code (through GrubHub/UberEats). I would love the convenience. Please look into it, that would make it so much better!

Great place for Bengali cuisine. Clean restaurant and tasty food. Dessert is awesome. Almost $30 per person for party orders. Have ample parking outside.

Craving for some good authentic Bengali food this is a perfect place place. We use to mostly get curry from here which when we placed order found to be expensive but portion size served completely justifies. Taste very homely . We usually get mutton kosha , chanar dalna and dhokar dalna some of the really rare find here. Amazing taste and behavior must say very homely .

Best Thalii we had this weekend at Rakhi Kitchen....We had fish & chicken thali. It came with 1 parota, 2 veg dishes, dal, fish, chicken, chatni, papad , sweets , white and Biryani rice. Excellent !!!

The closest place to a Kolkata bengali restaurant. The food reminded is of back home. We tried
1. Fish fry - was large and delicious
2. Biriyani- mutton was great. Chicken was a bit flavorless
3. Chingri Malaikari and Mach r jhal - too good
4. Mishti doi- one of the best. Brought home as well

Hired them for a Bangla wedding event. Hired another vendor too for one of the other days. Best vendor! The food was awesome - everyone loved it! Had a taste of Kolkata in it. The service was beyond comprehension.
While the other vendor refused to serve starters after 7, (even though guests arrived mostly after 8), and food after 9:00.... Rakhi's kitchen went above and beyond on their service days. They even agreed to serve a fresh line of all food items at 11:30 PM on the marriage day so that the bride and the groom and their families who had not eaten, would get fresh warm food to eat!
Another comparision: while the other vendors pounded on me to get their money ASAP (I had to withdraw money while on the way to the venue for the other food vendor!!), Rakhi's kitchen team gave me a good week after all the events, to get back to them with their amount.
First choice of vendors for any big event! Absolutely first class service!!
