Texan's Steak

The best Thai I’ve had in Dallas! Spice level is perfect and the staff is so warm and personable! I’ve never had potatoes cooked to perfection like that! No inconstancies whatsoever!

Food was good.. A little bit packaged. The salsa and sour cream came in packets. I would have loved some fresh salsa, and rice and beans with my fajitas. The potato skins had baco-s (not my favorite) but otherwise we thought the food had great flavor.

Tried this place for the first time last night. The steak was fantastic, perfect grill marks and seasoning. The rest was just eh. Salad basic iceberg mix and a single slice of tomato on it. I was a little taken aback by the shear number of individual containers in the bag, bacobits (the fake kind) dried chives, golden margarine, steak sauce, salad dressing pouches, and super cheap plastic wear. Overall I'd recommend this to people in Hotels traveling from out of town, felt more like a hotel room-service meal than a steakhouse meal (but the lower prices kinda reflect that) With a little updating and cleaning of their restaurant lobby, and minor upgrades to their presentation they could easily double their business. And their lobby has plenty of space for tables and chairs, clean the place, clear the windows off, brighten up the place with a fresh coat of paint, and let people eat there. No servers or wait staff needed. Such a waste of potential! Great concept, horrible execution! I'll go back for the steak. But that's probably the only reason...

First of all let me go by saying that if you have a problem with your food, dont wait two weeks before you finally call and complain. What place will honor this? 2nd..If a business is short of help, or it is raining severely outside, you must use common sense and understanding that the driver will get there as safest and fast as she/he can. I know for a fact that none of the food that is used at Texan Steak is spoiled, they have a food safety manager on site every day...I read one person they said that dont use A1 on your steak, eat it the way it was cooked... I couldnt agree more specially since that is basically insulting the chef who cooked it for you.. He/she cooks it to perfection with the seasons that they are known for, if you add something to it, your not eating it the way it was meant to be eaten. There is only one manager at this location, others are generally acting as if they are...so if your saying that a manager said to you, do what you got to do, then that was not the store manager.. Their store manager is polite and professional to all. Now if you get rude with them or insult them, who would blame them to lash out? Ive been eating the food Texan Steak cooks for over 7 yrs and I can say this, I have never had a bad experience thus far.. If I have a problem with my order, they correct it or fix it.. Those who are posting bad reviews and negative remarks because of what? Really you need to understand and realize that these people are doing the best they can especially since some of the times they are delivering far out where most places wont deliver.. Think about that the next time before you base your review on things you have no idea about. Also to the guy that says about food poisoning.. Most food poisoning takes between days to weeks to even occur in some instances it can happen in hours by contaminated food but those cases would have you in the hospital.. By reading your post it seems this wasnt the case.. I seriously doubt you got it from Texan Steak because others would have complained about this as well. If this happen to you, why did you not call them and complain about it? Why only put it on a review.. seems kind of fishy to me.. Just saying

These guys know steak the best steak in Dallas by far keep it up guys
