My stay here was overall good. Front desk and valet showed a genuine concern for guest satisfaction which I appreciated. Room was basic although comfortable with all the necessary amenities including a refrigerator, iron, safe, etc. Self parking was also available which could be an option if you don’t intend to frequently take your car in and out of the garage. Hotel’s location was good for the places I needed to get to while in town.

Really there is nothing wrong with this hotel, particularly for business (which I'm on). Good downtown location. Very good reception staff. Decent, if 'uninspired' breakfast. Very well designed and well kept rooms, although having no main light and having to operare 5 lights independently to illuminate the room seems a bit clunky. Slight niggle with the overly-technically-ambitious elevators which seems can only go to one floor at a time (no buttons inside) so they work more like taxis than busses ( you have to come and try them to get what I mean). People (incl me) very confused by it at first. But, never mind. A very decent hotel overall.

I posted the exercise room pics because the website only has one, and it makes the room look small. It is actually a very nice room with machines for every body part, and it has free weights. The handicap room is very spacious so a wheelchair can turn easily, and the bathroom is very accessible with a great shower. The room has a small refrigerator and a coffee maker, but it doesn't have a microwave. You have to use the microwave in the check-in convenience store room.

They charge $5 for bottled water in the room. I think it is silly to charge for water when I am already spending close to $500 a night for the room. If I want to be nickel and dimed, I will stay at a discount hotel and fly Spirit Airlines. Otherwise, it's a very good hotel.

Very clean and well kept property with excellent customer service. The restaurant was decent but not the greatest food. We enjoyed our room with a lovely view of the city and within a short walking distance to great food options.

The food at the hotel bar was A1 breakfast and dinner. The eggs could’ve used a little love lol but the service with Keshawn and the other tall Hispanic guy made it all come together. 🤎🤎

The hotel is conveniently located downtown and within a pretty comfortable walking distance of the aquarium and the Perot museum and science center. It has direct access into the plaza of America's where you can find maybe a dozen different places to eat in the food court for a quick meal with multiple coffee shops included. As a Bonvoy Platinum+ member I had access to the M lounge on the 16th floor which served breakfast in the mornings, light snacks and drinks available all day, as well as hors d'oeuvres in the evening. It was incredibly convenient to be able to slide in and grab a soda at any time and would be worth paying extra for the access if you aren't a Bonvoy member. We were upgraded to a deluxe suite. The bed was incredibly comfortable, rooms were clean, AC was ice cold, and the shower was HUGE and very well maintained. I will happily stay again on my next visit.

Everything was great! Lost my phone and was helped by several staff members. The restaurant is amazing also. Definitely would come back.

I wasn't thrilled with the valet service, so I skipped it, but every other aspect of my stay was great. The hotel was packed with teens, but everything was far smoother than I'd ever been at a property hosting a bunch of high schoolers.

Nicely updated hotel, with all new furniture and soft goods. Staff and location were great. My only complaint was the noise in the room from both doors closing, (including mine), and noise from the hallway, (other guests / housekeeping), being easily heard in my room. I ended up having to use ear plugs to sleep. I noticed the doors had a significant gap around them which allowed noise from the hall to get into the room around the door. Also, the same gap allowed the door to slam loudly when you closed it, even if you tried to do so slowly / carefully, (as I tried to do). I suggest the hotel install rubber seal around door frame to close the gap, and prevent doors slamming when closed.
