Really good Indian food. As soon as I walked in the restaurant I felt like I was in India. Good service. The spicy chicken biryani was packed with flavor and had good spice. Was loaded well with chicken.

I tried malai boti rolls, behari kabab rolls, and halwa puri. Malai boti rolls are amazing. Halwa puri was very tasty and well balanced meal for breakfast. It’s a perfect place to go for desi street food. The ambiance is accordingly. I would recommend giving it a renovation to add to the value.

I've been meaning to go to this location for a while, and it did not dissapoint! Friendly staff and customers that helped me with understanding the dishes and differentiating between plates/rolls, and ultimately helped me with finalizing my order. Ended taking it back home, which was a 30 min drive due to traffic. However, once I got back, all the food was still hot and delicious!

Went here again after many years, and the overall reviews are right, this place is a solid 4 stars. Not the best Pakistani food I've ever had, but everything we got was cooked well with good taste and decent prices too. I always love it when a place includes rice or naan with the curries without having to order separately. Did seem sorta chaotic in there with a good amount of customers especially at 5 pm Friday and they messed up my order too. But the meat was cooked well and tasted fine, so no complaints from me. If I'm ever in the area again, will definitely stop by!

I had breakfast at Al Kabob. Anda Paratha and chai. Paratha was big and fluffy just right and omelette was good too desi style. The lady at the counter was super courteous. Chai was spot on Karak.
Overall a good experience

BEST TASTING DESI FOOD!! They never fail to impress!
Charga, chicken 65, karahi, aakni, beef bihari and the lost goes of!!! Every single item on the menu is mouth watering good! Worth the drive and every penny!! Or don't forget to get the delicious chai and/or the dessert! Mango Lassi is also delicious.
Overall HIGHLY HIGHLY RECCOMENDED! If you are not eating here, you are missing out!

Delicious goat biryani, very welcoming and helped us with food recommendations. I don't know much of anything about Indian food, but I suspect this is the real deal in an unassuming package, and fairly competitive pricing.

Title: Delicious Middle Eastern Cuisine with a Few Room for Improvement
Rating: ★★★★☆
I recently had the pleasure of dining at AL Kabob Grill & Cafe located on Harry Hines Blvd in Dallas Texas. As a fan of Middle Eastern cuisine I was excited to try this restaurant out and overall I had a positive dining experience.
One of the highlights of my visit was the food. The menu offers a wide range of traditional Middle Eastern dishes from falafel wraps to kabobs and shawarma. I decided to try the mixed grill platter which included a variety of meats cooked to perfection. The chicken and lamb were juicy and flavorful while the beef had a delightful charred exterior. The portion sizes were generous and the presentation was aesthetically pleasing.
The service at AL Kabob Grill & Cafe was friendly and attentive. The staff was welcoming and knowledgeable about the menu readily answering any questions I had. The food was served promptly and my server frequently checked in to ensure I had everything I needed. The atmosphere in the restaurant was comfortable and relaxed making it a pleasant spot for a casual meal.
However there were a few areas where AL Kabob Grill & Cafe could improve. While the main dishes were excellent I found the appetizer options to be somewhat limited. It would be great to see more variety in this section of the menu perhaps offering additional dips and appetizers to enhance the dining experience.
Additionally the dessert options were somewhat lacking. Although the baklava I tried was tasty I would have appreciated a wider selection of traditional Middle Eastern desserts to choose from. Adding a few more options such as knafeh or mhalabiya would complete the meal on a sweet note.
In terms of pricing AL Kabob Grill & Cafe offers fairly reasonable prices for the quality and portion sizes of the dishes. While it may not be the most affordable option it is worth the price for the taste and experience.
Overall AL Kabob Grill & Cafe is a delightful Middle Eastern restaurant that offers delicious and authentic cuisine. With exceptional food attentive service and a comfortable atmosphere it is definitely worth a visit. Despite the limited appetizer and dessert options I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone craving a flavorful Middle Eastern meal in Dallas.

One among my favorite indian restaurants in dallas. It is a small place but their food is good.
Update: Went there after couple of years. Place is still packed all the time just like old times. Meaning food is still really good! I had mutton pulao and it was really delicious.

Came the first time on a recommendation and was amazed at the food and atmosphere. Back today for the 3rd trip and still the same. At 2pm they kept a line of people coming to eat and pick up food the whole time we were there. The phone never stopped ringing. The staff were helpful and courteous in helping someone unfamiliar with the dishes find things to try. The food totally dominates the reasons for coming. It's loud with people and staff ordering food and calling out names for pick ups and it all works for an amazing experience and great food. We will be back and butter chicken will always be on our table.

I was introduced to this restaurant back in 2019 by one of my coworkers, and ever since then, it has become my preferred destination for enjoying authentic beef biriyani, goat biriyani, and malai chicken boti. I've also sampled their samosas; they may be a bit oily, but they are undeniably tasty. While I haven't dined in there frequently, I must say the ambiance can be a bit chaotic. However, I highly recommend opting for takeout and placing your order with a call about 15 minutes before you plan to pick up your food.

Looking for some curry pretty much, came here during lunch time. It was quite busy, lot of to go orders. There’s only a few tables so seems more of a takeaway joint. Placed order at the counter and took a seat.We ordered the Beef Chapli Kabob, Haleem, Chicken Kadahi, Butter Naans and got Goat Biryani to go.

I waited 24-hours before posting an update to Al-Kabob's review. No amount of quality makes up for RUDE behavior. The owner-chef lady was downright insulting and cruel with regards to her behavior while dealing with me. I will never go back and spend my hard earned money here no matter how their food is. This is the US, people have the obligation to be polite at their business place.

Going forwards I will share my experience with everyone I know, and at every venue possible. Do not go to this place if you value self-respect.

RUDEST CLERK EVER!! She is unwilling to help and is very rude.Only visit there if you wanna ruin your day. They need to hire who can answer phone in a proper way and is pleasing to customers.

Great little joint on harry Hines blvd. the Kheer had decent texture n sweetness but could have had thicker milk. The chicken kebab roll was good. The chapli kebab was dry and didn't have any of the whole spices it usually comes with. Prices r affordable but service is slow n very few seating.

Neat little place on Harry Hines which is eternally busy. Got a takeaway for lunch . The goat keema with nan and chicken samosas were excellent.
