Best chicken fried rice on the planet! Hot and Sour soup ok.
Love this place....good food...also the customer services is great....
A very good resturant excellent service and great and authentic Chinese food. Always fresh not expenciv
Best hole in the wall chinese in Dallas. Took me 4 years to discover this place, now it is about the only place in the metro we will eat chinese. General Tao sauce and crab rangoon are the best in town.
Average chinese food. Basically your ordinary chinese food place. Inexpenisve stir fry of various kinds. Their egg rolls are good. I don't like their General Tso's because it has too much sauce and the flavor isn't great. Their orange chicken is decent.
Always get general chicken, always fantastic. Haven’t really found acceptable Chinese take out in the area but this is surprisingly good. Order white meat, worth it.
My husband and I have already been a couple times and it's amazing. The food is fresh and the owner does her best to make sure she doesn't overcharge you. Egg rolls are good, and my favorite dish so far is the pepper chicken!
Excellent Restaurant for Chinese Food. Wow, Tam’s Eggroll has remarkable years in business, since 1981! Everything is cook Fresh upon order. All the vegetables are so Fresh. You can request too, how you want your food. They have a good serving portion, especially their Daily Special Chicken Fried Rice. Their Orange Chicken is so delicious! Their egg rolls are heavenly! You should come and try it yourself!
So I called them up and ordered some orange chicken, egg rolls, crab ran goon (sp?), and a drink. I asked for delivery... I was not yet at the $10 limit required for delivery. Now, it's usually a bad sign if they have super cheap food and they're unable to deliver. HOWEVER, I find it actually great if it's a Chinese restaurant.
Needless to say, I ordered a couple more things, got up to $12, and they delivered to me. The food was abundant and fantastic. Everything was really well cooked, the delivery guy (and phone guy) were super-nice, and it was all edible! I've had my share of crappy Chinese delivery knock-offs, and let me tell you, this is NOT a knock off. It's the real deal.
I got delivery one night, and went into the physical restaurant the next. Everything was clean, and all employees were super nice. The food is cooked fresh and hot, and they will bend over backwards to make you happy.
I'm not IN LOVE with this place, because it's still considered "fast food," but it will definitely continue to be at the top of my short list of places to go when I'm in the area!

Tam's has some of the finest sesame chicken that you could ever put in your mouth. Crispy, crunchy, and yet, still melts in the mouth more perfectly than perfection. I've been a fan of this hidden treasure on Forest Lane for a couple of years. My only complaint is that I didn't discover Tam's Egg Roll sooner.
Yum! The combo fried rice is the best. Unfortunately not the best for you. I usually ask for steamed veggies with steamed chicken. You can be über healthy but there are so many yummy choices for those that indulge. Dana is super nice and always remembers us.
Good food, decent Dive Atmosphere. Food has changed a little but they don't always have the same cooks all the time it seems. Their Specials menu is decent and offers a good choice of popular dishes.
I was across the street and Medical City receiving chemotherapy, which made everything taste metallic. I was at the point where they were going to insert a feeding tube because I was not eating, being a lover of Chinese food decided to get this establishment a chance. I ordered the sweet and sour chicken with lo mein, and God as my witness I ate it all up. Tam's is one of the key factors in my survival, giving me subsidence. I now look forward to my next oncology check up not for the results but I can once again eat at Tam's egg roll, because you only live once so enjoy the small things.
me & my husband came here to eat we loves it da shrimp fried rice was really good & my husband loved their sweet & sour chicken it wasn't so battered with bread but we felt like the portion size on the chicken could have been alil more larger but overall it was good..
Delicious crab rangoons and cheap too. My pregnant wife craves their rangoons and Chinese food. Fresh vegetables in the dishes. Delivery Guy is always kind and fast!
