Review Yummy Pizza - Dallas

The food truck was parked at Klyde Warren Park. The food was so absolutely delicious and fresh! Reasonably priced for the quality of food and amazing customer service! I got the chicken pesto stuffer and my friend got the 8”inch cheese pizza and chicken tenders with fries. The fries were well seasoned and the chicken was juicy and crispy! An all around wonderful experience and totally worth trying!

I'm telling you, the price is worth it. I got the philly steak sandwich $10.50. The best thing I've ever tasted. My friend got the chicken Parmesan sandwich and you can see his face over how good it is. EAT HERE

With the expectation that food trucks at parks are subpar or at least gas station quality, you are pleasantly surprised when you taste the food and realize the quality can easily rival those genuine “whole in the wall” spots. After spending some time chasing the kids around in the park or the dog tired you out from a walk, this is some awesome comfort food. Pizza is a solid 8/10. Perfect balance of thin crust, tomato sauce and cheese, like a NY pizza should be. Pepperoni pizza perhaps could’ve had one or two pepperonis, but didn’t take away from how good it is. Cheese pizza was cheesy, really cheesy. Wings were very crispy and off the bone, with plenty of wing sauce and ranch. Without hesitation I could probably have given 5 stars if it didn’t feel just a tad bit expensive. Will probably eat from this place again if I’m in the vicinity.

Their food truck feeding the yuppies with overpriced food at KWP. Philly sub had no substance for what we paid. Pizza was fine for the kiddos. Service was friendly on a busy day. (This was on a Sat in early Nov) P.S. there's a BBQ truck to avoid at all costs! Wayyy overpriced with little product!

The owner is kind and patient with the customer as they decide on which pizza is best for them. Me and my spouse could not be more pleased with. The quality of the pizza, perfect size and amazing taste throughout each bite. Thank you for an awesome experience and i can ensure that more trips will be taken to the Art District just for a taste of the pizza offered by this food truck in particular.

Toddlers are picky and my kids killed the wings and pizza! The fries were amazing! Customer service was great too! Thanks for the great lunch experience!

Wonderful pizza! Especially the gluten free option. Hot and fast! This piece is all that was left to photograph.

The service and food here was amazing, we stopped by on a busy day and had great service and Steven helped us decide on what to order and was super friendly and helpful. Great customer service, really good pizza, plus an awesome location. We will definitely be coming back!

We visited this food truck in the pumpkin night today, and the food was fairly good in flavor and price! Highly recommended bbq and lemon pepper chicken wings, With the chicken strips were really tasty but just 2! That was only cons! Definitely will try again

Yesterday we chaperone kids to Klyde W park and we ordered pepperoni rolls and drinks from Yummy. The food was tasty but what made a big mark on us the kindness of the team. A tall black man was standing in front of the truck holding a water bottle with security guard behind him. He handed coins for the water to the truck employee. Employee looked at him and us and he gave him the coins back. Black man was clearly or travelling for a long time or homeless or on the edge. Kids asked me why they paid for their Sprite and the guy didn't and it was such a great example of kindness that sometimes we need to give. Great people. Go get food from them as you support kind people and business.

*** I had Yummy Pizza Food Truck at a company catered event so your experience may be different than mine. *** The company I work for likes to show their employees appreciation by hiring a catered food truck every month. We always appreciate the free meal, but it's sort of sacred to us as well. So when we started seeing poor reviews of Yummy Pizza Food Truck in advance we were a bit unenthusiastic about this pick. Naturally small portions, burnt sandwich bread, long wait times, and bad customer service became inter office jokes for weeks leading to our event. Well, I can say that those complaints are half-true, but if you don't order the sandwiches and go into Yummy Pizza with some knowledge you can end up with a very tasty pizza for your patience. First, I agree that the pizza is small for the price and I'd suggest that if you're going for quantity for your dollar I'd definitely get the stuffers instead. Everyone complained about the burnt bread on their sandwiches, but they really liked the part that wasn't burnt (to the point that some went back for seconds). Plus those fries were a big hit in our office. The sign on the truck promised a genuine New York style pizza, and I guess it wouldn't be the same without an aggressive New York style attitude from the cashier because that's what we got. Abrupt "SPEAK UP", "WE DON'T HAVE THAT", and "WHATDOYA' WANT" statements from our cashier were surprising, but gave us loads of entertainment during our wait (including Seinfeld Soup Nazi quotes). Honestly, nothing was funnier watching someone going to order with no idea of what they were walking into. 😂 In the end, the same aggressive guy was a delight to talk to when they were not busy, but "Look Out" when they are. And speaking of that wait..., yeah these guys seem to like to focus on one thing at a time. Nobody's wait was under 15 minutes and it looked like they just worked on getting all the orders in first before any food came out. But when the food starting coming out it was rapid fire. Anyhow, if you can deal with what I described above and you have a flexible lunch hour then I'd say that you should give Yummy Pizza a go. I personally liked the Deluxe pizza I got, but knowing what I know, I would have gotten it as a stuffer.

Ran into them at city hall today. Food was fine. Not bad but not amazing perfect for lunch. In my opinion the fries were seasoned fine so maybe theyve improved there. Im from philly so I wont be too hard on their cheesesteak but it was lunch and I wasnt upset. Service was fine.

The hubs and I ordered an 8” margarita pizza. It was awesome, very fresh tasting and we both had just enough to satisfy us for $8. I will definitely be on the lookout for this truck again.
