Great place, nice art 🎨🎭 🆓 lots of different culture and History
CHICKEN, ARTICHOKES, AND GRAPES SOCCA! Freshly Made, Quick, and, Delicious Socca! Wonderful light lunch or coffee break from DMA! Great ice tea also!
I didn’t have any food but the coffee was pretty good!
Really comfy place for morning or lunch.
I enjoyed my bagel cream cheese and salmon. Good coffee. Wish they had yogurt but will have pancakes tomorrow there...I seldom get but their's intrigues me
I thought the prices were reasonable for the area. I really enjoyed the two sandwiches I shared with my SO. Service was fast. However, seating during the lunch rush was a little difficult since it was so crowded in the museum.
The Atmosphere is dream like. Majestic. Chef Ramon put together an amazing menu that will definitely please all ages. The staff and management are always welcoming, except for one fellow. A bit cheeky.😁
I visit DMA for kids program regularly. I usually go to Klyde Warren Park food truck across the street for lunch... I just assume DMA cafe food would be blah and pricey. But this time it was too cold to eat outside, so I HAD TO eat at DMA cafe.
I ordered margherita pizza and chicken stripes with fries. I was VERY surprised how they treated the "regular junk food" with dignity. The pizza was freshly handmade dough and seasoning was perfect!!! The french fries texture and taste were incredible, it wasn't tasteless like regular junk french fries. The chicken stripes were nice too. And they only charged me $12 for both items! I will definitely go back and maybe skip Klyde Warren Park food truck for DMA cafe from now on.
This review is for Socca Mediterranean Cafe, one of the two cafe options at the Dallas Museum of Art. Socca's food is delicious. They make tasty salads served on a crepe-like flatbread made from chickpeas. We had the chicken artichoke socca (with goat cheese, roasted grapes & mixed greens) & the mediterranean tuna salad (with olives, capers & mixed greens). Both were excellent, fresh & filling. The DMA Cafe is good but typical, while Socca offers something unique & different. Note: Socca is located just outside the DMA indoor dining/seating area. There is outdoor seating or you can bring your Socca plate indoor.
The best part is being able to eat lunch in the large lobby area of museum. Very peaceful place, especially for nearby office workers, to enjoy sandwiches, wraps, salads, and soup.
Some people go there for the food. I just go there for the ambience. Nice and peaceful and roomy in the eating areas. Prices are average for downtown prices.
