Since I've moved out of state, this has been a must stop when visiting family in the Dallas area. Keep up the great work. My compliments from Colorado. Don't be afraid of the cash only requirement.
Oh man.. they have some darn good catfish plates. The hushpuppies and fries were great too. I loved the service. Family type environment like I was talking to my uncles. Everything was seasoned to perfection. Hot and fresh made to order. I can't say enough nice things about this place. If I could give 6 stars I would.
Excellent on the seasoning on my catfish plate. Great sauce. I prefer my catfish a little more crispy would be my only critique. Bring back the turkey burger!
Good fish, good prices, great service. Should order in advance before arriving to make the wait time lesser because of a lot of business. Make sure you have cash, they don’t do credit/debit. I personally think they should…for business reasons. But overall, very satisfied
This is by far some of the best fish I've had in a long time. We drove from Garland to West Dallas. On this day the owner was there. What a treat! His customer service skills don't even have a rating. By far he was the nicest restaurant owner I've ever encountered. I could tell he was authentic because he was nice to everyone. Please don't sleep on this place. Our fish was good and hot, the Kool aid was diabetes in a bag just like I like it! I don't have anything to say other than, I don't care how you get here, get here if you can. Remember that song? Oh yeah, it's Cash only. That's ok, I'm not mad about that.

Me and my wife came for the first time and was hooked. Great day service matched with excellent food. Omg it was delicious. Definitely our new spot. Yulp missed out. This place is definitely top ten caliber. You guys have a forever customer. Thank you

I love whiskers! They usually have the best catfish around. The meal is always hot and seasoned perfectly. Customer service is great during the weekdays but on weekends beware of the rush because of a flux in customers. Today I was excited to eat at my favorite fish place but when I got home I immediately noticed a difference in my fish from when I previously went. Todays fish was subpar and didn’t taste at all like catfish. When i broke the fish apart, I noticed that it also looked different. I don’t know if the were short on catfish and used another type of fish but you can tell the difference.
Was craving for a fish & chips place and was pleasantly surprised to find this hole in the wall. The first thing that got my attention was the price and the positive reviews. And who can say no to fried catfish?
The food did not disappoint. I got the 2 piece fillet + hushpuppies. The catfish was on point. It was very flavorful, light, and portion sizes were good. It was a little salty but was complimented well by the toast, fries, and pickles provided. I was too full to eat all the hushpuppies but they were well worth the $1 add-on. The owner, Kevin, was also super sweet and helpful. Happy to support a local business. Definitely would come back again.
Very tasty fish that is fried hard but no extras. They used to throw in a free filet but times are hard. They only take cash and there receptionist has no social skills. But all worth it once you dig in
