Off The Record

Really cool little spot that would be great for smaller shows. They have a mini stage inside and a nice area out back with picnic tables. Antique bricks are laid out on the ground in the back and there is a convenient emergency exit on the patio. Lots of dope records for sale on the inside. There is a bar next door that would be great to expand with a bigger stage in the back if we were to have shows there in the future. Many stickers on the patio with room for a lot more. I did a price check on a Long Island Iced Tea which was way too expensive and came out to $16 when average is roughly $8. That’s something I see that they can work on but the canned beer was $4 and generally not a bad deal for a bar. Definitely dig the Christopher Walken painting on the inside 🤘

When I first heard of this place I was wondering if it was a store or if it was a bar. Turns out it was both and it sure was best of both worlds. It is located near other bars and the patio is like you are in the middle of Axelrad ( A bar in Houston that is highly recommended). The DJ was rock awesome blending hip-hop and pop with a tad bit of old school music. If you plan on bar hopping make sure to hit this place up.

Off the Record Craft Beer & Vinyl is an oasis of cool in an already amazing neighborhood. The craft beer list is off the charts, the records for sale are very well curated, the sound system for DJs absolutely kicks, and the staff is exceptional. Kind, knowledgeable on music, great handle on the tap list, and efficient. Really enjoy this spot and they keep the temperature very comfortable.

Great taste in music and ambiance. They bring good DJs. The prices are good. There are a few tables indoors but mostly you have to stand up in a narrow space. It is comfortable if it is not too busy, but if it is, expect to rub yourself against others to walk through. There are are more tables at the patio, where you can hear the music from the bars next door. The patio could use an upgrade.
