I'm a little bias cause I'm from Chicago and I know it won't taste exactly the same. The fish and Chicken are on point, shrimp and other fried foods. Standard Perch, Talapia and catfish. The lemon pepper powder is bangin and the pizza puffs remind me of my childhood 😁. Just make sure if you've never tried a pizza puff you ask for no lemon powder. I'm not sure why they put lemon powder on a pizza with no fish 🤔. They moved their store to a better location and the store is cleaner with less "troubled" traffic. My only grip is the mild sauce is a no for me dawg. Not that you shouldn't atleast try it but it's not Chicago style mild sauce. Other than that since J&J fish is far away go get you some fish fry and wings you won't be disappointed. 😉

I live way across town but happened to be passing by I was there once a long time ago but tonight I ordered the catfish combo with some fried mushrooms and fries and a drink comes with it man the seasoning is off the chain. I almost finished my mushrooms before I got back to the house and I live in northwest Dallas. I tell you what I will be back a lot of food for the price was excellent. No way I can eat three pieces of fish these fish as big as a palm of my hand but I love fish. Now they do have chicken. I haven't tried that yet!!

I went to the one in Lancaster. My 1st time trying them. Food was great. Ordered 3 piece catfish. Completely full off 1 piece. Seasoned well, good portions. It’s not a new building and it’s attached to a car repair place but it was very clean, no fishy smells. Staff was polite and professional. Food was cooked to order and fast. Thumbs up.
