We've been eating here since the doors first open, when it was behind McDonld's. I love their tortilla soup on a cold day. I get a side of rice and mix it in my soup. The chip and salsa is good too.

The food is amazing. I had steak chimichanga (OMG IT'S stuffed with steak) with chile con carne, wife had beef enchiladas and added a tamale. The service was great. We ordered take-out but they wanted us to stay to enjoy the live entertainment. We're definitely going to go back for that. The young man that served us was very nice, respectful and polite.

This restaurant was nearby so we decided to try it. Finally, a restaurant that does not serve too many chips. Price was decent! I really enjoyed my shrimps :)

We had a great experience here. There was a gentlemen BBQ'ing some chicken outside. It smelled delicious, so I made sure to order the 'pollo asada from outside.'
Their red sauce is very spicy and has lots of flavor. The ranchero beans were also great.
Service was decent. We were the only party there for lunch, but lots of people were doing take out.
If I'm in the area, I would eat here again.

I was in the area a couple of weeks ago and was looking for a good breakfast meal. Happened to see that Monterrey Mexican restaurant was open so stopped in. It was early and there really wasn’t anyone else else there so the service was really good. Ordered Huevos Ranchers with bacon and potatoes. Food came out quick and it was really good. Also ordered coffee and it comes in a cool mug. I’ll probably be back in the Dallas area in the next month or two and plan on stopping by again.

The young man there pi ked up the slack and brought me more water.
The chips and the soft corn tortillas were great.

We stopped by around lunch time, it was some what busy but there’s a lot of seating... the place was clean, also the bathrooms. The service was good, the chips and salsa were delicious... we ordered two tortas they had everything they’re supposed to, the michelada was actually good as well as the agua de horchata. Price was reasonable and the menu had many many options to choose from.

Old Raymond's BBQ on Garland Road is now Monterrey Mexican Food & BBQ! This place is lit up like a Christmas tree at night! Very colorful inside . Good chips and hot sauce , standard red sauce comes with the chips but ask for the green salsa verde . Bean and cheese nachos were good. Combination fajitas were outstanding. We tried a couple of Al Pastore tacos, they were a little dry but still very good . Ask for the green jalapeno and avocado sauce for the tacos, awesome . Extensive menu, lots of different things we need to try . The place was a little stinky when we first walked in, possibly a little sewage problem. Hardly noticeable after a minute or two. Got used to it right away. I won't let that stop me from going back!

They changed the location and the new place iz pretty good, a lot larger than before. I think on Fridays nights(or weekend) they have "special nights" so that's fun I remember. They offer free deliver within 3 miles or you can order in and grab it when it's done. I usually go for the Menudo, since it's my favorite.

My family & I go there once in a while since it's opening. The FOOD tastes good, we have our favourite dishes, the place is now pretty overaged, the service yesterday was slow in comparison to OTHER visits.
Their emphasis now lies on their new restaurant!

The food here was so delicious! I had the tortilla soup, and my husband had camarones a la diabla! The meal was so delicious we try and go at the very least twice a month. The waitresses are super nice and friendly the times I've gone, the waitresses who takes care of us there is Tere and Guille. I love it even more that it is a family owned restaurant. DELICIOUS!!!

Overpriced Jalapenos and Onions. The food is not the reason for the low rating. Restaurant Monterrey does indeed have very authentic and tasty Mexican food. On my last visit I ordered a side of diced onions and jalapenos. I'm not talking about a plate full of said sides, but little side cups used for dipping ranch or bleu cheese at most hot wing joints. I was charged ONE DOLLAR per side! I will not give my business to restaurants that extremely overcharge and rip off customers. The price was outrageous and I will never return for that reason.
