Good food not great!!. Lourdes and I decided to spend the day at the Dallas Arburetum close by. We happened to find this place and the parking lot was full, which is usually a good sign. I played it safe and ordered the Chicken Chow Mein with Egg Foo Young. Overall I found it good. The waitress was not the most friendliest person in the world. Lourdes had the Sweet and Sour Chicken, she found it average. The rice was good. The interior of the restaurant was worn out and needs a good reno!! The prices were very inexpensive.

The restaurant is nice you can eat in or take out the people are very friendly that works there I think it's a family restaurant. The food is very delicious I know they got some kind of special sauce. I usually get shrimp lo mein and shrimp and broccoli. I love the egg rolls they are huge and very delicious. it can be a little expensive you're spending anywhere from $13 - $15 a bladder you usually spend about 30 to $45 but you can feed your whole family.

Go! Clean Place and HUGE PORTIONS! I got hooked on this place by a coworker. Wow! They have huge portions and the staff are incredibly friendly. The location is really clean, and you have options to tweak the menu according to your liking. I will be a repeat customer in the near future.

Some hits and some misses. Ordered Hunan Beef which says is supposed to be very hot. They forgot to add any heat to the dish. Still tasted good. Combination sweet and sour was good, but one larger piece was a little under cooked. You can up grade any entree to a deluxe dinner for $ 5.95. You get your choice of a cup of soup, a puffed shrimp, egg roll, red bbq spare rib, Chinese almond cookie. Rib was a little strong pork tasting, excellent homemade egg roll, great wonton soup, puffed shrimp good. Long time family and friends owned. Want to go back and try other dishes.

Best eggrolls around. The pork fried rice is so yummy. I can't say the same for the rest of the food their but if you are looking for something light then that is a perfect combo.

Ordered hot and sour soup, General Tso's chicken, bbq pork fried rice, and the chicken pineapple special. Everything was good, except for (surprisingly) the soup. Not sure if it was the bottom of the pot/batch, or maybe the soup had been sitting uncovered for too long and needed more water, but it just tasted off (it was more sweet than hot and sour). Hopefully that was just a fluke, because I'd like this place to be my go-to American style Chinese restaurant.

Ive been going here for years. The service is like you're at family's house. Not like a nice restaurant but I do like that in some places. The portions are always large, the price is fairly low and the quality is consistent.

I stopped in to have dinner here, for the first time in 40+ years. Yes, really. They opened in 1958. My family used to stop here when we were back in Dallas, & I particularly recall the delicious egg rolls. And they still are! It's very good Chinese, but I think take out is a bigger deal these days. I'm glad I did this. Itch scratched!
