The Ivy is the perfect place to relax, unwind, and spend tome with the people you love most. The owner and his staff go above and beyond to make their guests feel welcomed. The food is phenomenal and the cocktails are perfect. If you enjoy old school music this is the place to be!! This is my new favorite hang out and I highly recommend it to everyone!!

The Ivy is always a great place to have cocktails and be social.. It's always has a good crowd. Katy is my favorite server. The owner is pretty bad ass also.... I live in the neighborhood, so it's always my first pick for happy hour...

We stopped in because we had a 4 hour layover at DAL wanted to get out of the airport for a bit! Some of the most awesome service I’ve had in awhile! Had my favorite vodka Dustin behind the bar and the manager and other bartender were all super friendly food was phenomenal! Everyone seemed to enjoy working there. Very fresh and good quality! Highly recommend the chicken sliders and or hamburger pizza! When I’m in Dallas again definitely will be going back

I’ve driven by this hidden dive bar 1,000,000 times. Maybe 999,000 before I ever knew it existed. Today, I finally ventured in. That’s a tragedy. Occupying a tiny storefront on Lemmon Ave, the place extends into a tesseract of expansive space. A small dark and clubby (though spartan) interior and a large shaded and misted back patio that make this oppressive Texan summer heat endurable. The bartender was cheerful and attentive. Not a craft cocktail spot, but respectably outfitted for the unfussy standards. Time can stop ensconced in the dark walls and a refreshing libation at the front bar. The bar menu is far larger than anticipated. D Magazine recently lauded their Hamburger pizza. It’s tasty. Detractor: I’d prefer glass for my water over the red solo cup. All things considered, it’s kinda a thrill to know about a “secret gem” that’s solidly been standing its ground for quite a while. ‘Bout time I clued in. Having car work done at a nearby dealership? This is a prime option to wait it out.

There needs to be a non-smoking and No big Dog rule or area. I was surprised to see a person with a huge dog sitting next to her in the back bar, which is literally the whole place. The Ivy has a lot of charm, but not everyone wants random huge dogs right next to them with people that are drinking. Leave the dogs safely at home. The mixture of people is wonderful, always friendly, and it's a Dallas original experience.

I recently visited this hidden gem, and I was pleasantly surprised by the great vibes it offered. The laid back atmosphere and tasteful modern music created a unique and cozy ambiance. The staff were friendly and seemed genuinely interested in making sure everyone had a good time. The crowd was diverse and laid-back, adding to the overall welcoming atmosphere. While the place might not have the fanciest drinks or decor, its charm and friendly atmosphere make it a must-visit for those looking for a relaxed and enjoyable place to drink.

Hidden neighborhood hole-in-the-wall. No signage, so if you dont know it is there then you will just miss out. Normal crowd of all legal ages. Beer nicely priced and cigars are no problem. Highly recommend.

First of all go to the bar and ask Kyle to make you his famous margarita 👨‍🍳chefs kiss!! He and his companions make the atmosphere here!! They are fun and goofy and attentive - wonderful men!! The place is clean and very cute lots of games including a pool table. The food?!?! Dear Lord!!! Get the loaded fries with brisket and pimiento cheese pleaseee and their cheese pizza was the bomb!! You will enjoy it here - definitely coming back!!!

Kyle is one of the main reasons we go to The Ivy. He always has a smile, always remembers your name and orders. He’s very welcoming to what feels like his home. Love the new upgrades and the wall art. Great bar food like their pizza as well!

Ivy Tavern is a hopping little place! Great bar, really sweet heated patio with TVs and occasional live music. Due to surrounding homes and businesses, you won't find loud and rowdy bands, but there's plenty of trendy atmosphere. The food was fairly traditional bar food and the drinks were good and strong. Pretty unassuming place by the front of the place, but park around back and belt right up to the outdoor bar. There's billiards, darts and plenty of seating. Awesome spot!

Local dive with food available pretty late into the evening. My buddy loves the burger, so I'll try it soon and update this review. I've been coming here for years and hope it stays for many years to come. Great social setting and open patio. Parking can be a challenge at times, but there are two lots available (on each side street of the building).
