This was a great lunch pick that our kids loved. All kinds of different burgers and shakes. The shoe string fries with the fry sauce was great. Very unique place with a playground for the kids and a lounge area for the adults. My son got a “dirt worm” shake.

Some of the best food in the metroplex and did I forget to mention the service. Upon entering this establishment, we were greeted by the cashier Victor. It was my first time, and he made this experience the best one yet. From the margaritas to the little hat burger, everything was made to perfection. Even the establishment was super clean. Great place to check out!

If i could give them more than 5 stars i would wonderful establishment. They truly take care of you. Super family friendly and cool hangout on a hot day! Stuck in Dallas due to a delayed flight with 3 little ones. We played and ate the entire time. Play ground was so convenient and the best one we’ve been too. Great adult time while kids play. The manager was so amazing and accommodating as well. Will definitely stop again when in Dallas!

My only complaint is that I didn't know about this place sooner - just ate the best burger of my life that was cooked fresh with the crispiest lettuce.
Do yourself a favor and stop by this location; you will not regret it!

This place was amazing!! When you walk into the restaurant, the smell of the food has your mouth watering. I had the turkey burger and tater tots and they were simply marvelous. I couldn't tell it was turkey and the burger was well seasoned. It was my first time in and will not be the last time.

We always come here with our little one. The park is fun for the kiddos, and you can watch your little one while you dine. It gets packed, so be forewarned. Parking is good, and it is by the train station, if you rely upon public transport. The food is amazing, and there are many gluten free, vegan, and vegetarian options. The burgers melt in your mouth. Good service as well.

I always get the best service when I order! Service is fast and efficient (I generally order online); a couple of times, I have arrived early with the expectation to wait a few minutes.. my food has been ready to go each time!
This last order, I called the restaurant to postpone my pick up.. I arrived at the expected time, but they waited to make my food fresh since they weren’t positive off when I would arrive!
Their Pickles are the best ( I don’t like dill pickles, and I find myself craving theirs)!! There is a playground for littles with misters to keep cool out in this heat!!

Came for the outdoor playground but the fans weren't on. Food was okay and disappointed they only had milkshakes for dessert... we misunderstood the sign for the Dirt Earthworm was not the actual dessert but an orro shake.

Love this place for my daughter and for me!!! The playground is perfect for the kiddos to run around and Hat Creek has the setting. Today it was a margarita with fried pickles and of course the loaded fries for me!!

If you want a good burger, I recommend you try this restaurant. It was my first time here and I was not disappointed at all. They have really good fries and different types of sauces for fries besides your good ol standard ketchup. Will definitely be back here. I might bump them up to 5 stars when I try more on their menu.

This Dallas location feels a little more cramped than the Allen locale, but it still offers the same great food and fun.
The outdoor covered patio that overlooks the playground has 15 picnic tables and even on a busy Saturday during spring break there were empty tables to sit down at.
The indoor seating area was a bit cramped, especially when there is a full line waiting to order, but there was still room to refill drinks and get sauces.
The burgers and fries were good, and I absolutely loved the mustard dipping sauce that I dipped my fries into. The kids burger meal is a decent value especially since your kids won't want to leave once they start playing.

My wife has Celiac so our options are limited but hat creek offers gluten free buns, fried chicken and sides that she can eat and enjoy. Also they have a playground for kids to play on and beer for the dads!!

I enjoyed this place. The burger and sweet potato fries were delicious. The food was fresh and hot. The place has inside seating, as well as a covered patio style seating with play area, that has a slide and more, and is great for kids. The restaurant was very neat and clean. This place is great for adults and kids of all ages. They have soda, water, beer, and wine to drink. Come check it out and see for yourself.

My kid loves this place!! I think it's pretty great, myself; we can both eat for under $20., and he has the THE BEST time playing on the outdoor play space! The only bad part, he never wants to leave!

So much fun, but so small! This place is gonna be crowded like crazy. Best to go at non-meal times if you've got kiddos interested in playtime without overcrowding. Otherwise, tons of fun! We'll be back. Fun, down to earth, mid-day mom crowd too :) Our burgers were a bit overdone, but this was Day 2. They seem super receptive, kind, and getting into the swing of things quickly. Awesome team!

I really love the concept, but when we used to go to the McKinney location the food was great, play structure was great. This location, the play structure is aimed towards older kids, and is an all black playground under the beating Dallas sun. It was a sauna in there!! Maybe add some sunshades over top! Now this time the food tasted like frozen burgers and the bun was stale. But I still wanted to give a 3 because I do love Hat Creek.

I was so excited to see that they were coming to our hood as I drive past everyday and was watching the progress. They do not have the logistics worked out yet and are serving way too many people. I'm 32 weeks pregnant and came in by myself with my hungry 2 year old, paid for our meal and then go outside and no seats available in the 90 degree heat (none inside either). My daughter had a little of her milkshake while we waited on our dinner and then she walked over to the playground. 2 minutes later she took a step up the stairs and an older boy - 7 or 8 years old ran up, grabbed her by the head and pushed her down the stairs. Apparently he had been doing that for quite a while to various other kids as parents jumped up to yell at him and tell me no one knew where his parents where and that he was a repeat offender and had been doing it all afternoon. I stood there comforting my crying and screaming toddler on the patio and had them put my food in a bag as I was shaking. This place is a zoo and I will not be back, an absolute maddening experience. And the food is just average. Very unfortunate.

Nice menu - wish I was hungry enough to try a little of everything, but started off with a simple burger & tots. Tasted "home cooked" and I think I'll be back to try some of the other items.
