I travel thru DFW frequently and have eaten here a couple of times. Everything is fresh, nicely prepared and the staff in great. This time I had the green curry chicken bowl.
I definitely recommend this place over some of the other options at the airport.
Decent Thai vietanamese inspired restaurant by Terminal D in DFW.
Chilled beers, cocktails, phad thai, spring rolls, courteous staff and a good view!!

Fresh off the red eye from Honolulu, wanted something a cut above an egg biscuit...here it is! Got the steak and egg banh mi-- a crusty fresh roll with an omelet, sliced marinated beef, a bed of cilantro, a vegetable slaw, and sliced marinated cucumber. Wow-- and it was $4.95 ($5.36 with tax). A wonderful alternative to bland airport food or texmex.
Not sure why the Banh Shop only receives a 3.0 overall? In their efforts to strive for mediocrity, the DFW concessions folks are killing it. So at least the Banh Shop isn't that!? It's now one of a few really neat places to eat in the DFW airport.
For those who don't know what a Banh Mi is, it's basically a Vietnamese hoagie. And they're generous. No skimping on the grilled beef and lots of extra veggies. Plus their pan-Asian dishes are genuinely well done. And their prices are good.
My only critique is that the baguettes are sometimes not that fresh.
All and all the BH has become a hit amongst passengers looking for something besides, corporate mediocrity.
Good drunken (rice) noodles, served on a bed of lettuce, but about 2 dollars too expensive. Disappointed the gluten-free version of banh mi advertised on the menu just means "no bread at all." But it was pretty fast, and the fresh flavors make it special in DFW. I would eat here again if in terminal D.
This place is SOOOOOOOO GOOD!!!!
Very fresh, very attentive. Great basic Vietnamese food. Give it a shot!
I found this place near my gate and decided to try it. The waitress was very nice. She helped me make a choice as I have never eaten there before.
The bread was very crispy and the veggies were fresh.
I also had 2 shots of whiskey
I definitely recommend.
I though I would never say this in my lifetime, but this is probably the only in airport place I've eaten that has amazed me.
Look no further, The bahn fire bowl is amazing. I highly recommend. The flavor, the green chutney on the side, the tangy tamarind sauce.
Wife ordered the pad Thai, was a bit sweet but still pretty tasty. Hope you enjoy as much as I did.
Great service and super tasty curry with lots of ginger. Clean cozy seating. Only thing was the chicken was slightly overcooked for my taste.
Josh G was such a kind waiter. I had missed a lay over and my dogs were hungry. I ordered a plain rice 🍚 to give them something in the long wait for my flight and he gave me boxes so I could use them as bowls. Great food and friendly service. Thank you.
Tofu? In an airport?! Sure, not fancy dining and a lil overpriced, but this was solid, tasty food. Thank you!
Steak banh mi to go, not bad tasting but a bit expensive
The food was fresh and tasty. Staff was friendly.
