Okay listen I was fussing at my man for spending too much money on pies. But after taking a bite out of the chocolate cream pie and then the pumpkin followed by the pecan pie … I apologized for fussing about the price. It is important to note that I in my life HAD never eaten pecan pie. Ever. Never. I have been converted to eating pecan pies Only from here at Humble. Thanks you guys… you are hands down great pie makers.
The pies were also not super sweet at least in my opinion. They didn’t kill the pies with sugar. They are just the perfect amount of sweetness.

Placed an online order for the strawberry rhubarb pie for pick-up,was not disappointed, my husband and I finished the pie in 2 days. Made with fresh ingredients and had a very generous filling. Also bought a slice of the lemon ice box to enjoy inside the pie shop, it was frozen when it was served to us so i wasn't able to enjoy it then. While it's the same recipe used, it seemed to taste quite a bit of condensed milk, maybe just me, but i may try another slice to see if I experience the same issue, maybe it was just a bad batch.

Truthfully I’m not even a fan of pie but my mom is. It’s a cute place with pies even this non pie fan loves. Try the coconut cream!
The inside is super cute. Sit and play some board games or catch up with friends. The owners and staff are so nice. It’s a gem!

We stopped in since we were in this side of town. Let me tell you that we were greatly surprised at the quality & the full flavors that were in each pie. It's not often that we go somewhere & are happy about spending money purchasing deserts, so this was AWESOME! The young lady was very nice & was happy to explain each item in detail. We can't wait to come back & try more!

Sean was great! Awesome guy and the pie....everyone loved it. We grabbed slices for everyone - chocolate cream, starwberry tarts, and bayou goo. All were well balanced - rich but not heavy, sweet and light. Truly worth the stop in to this gem in Dallas!

The Coconut Joy was so delicious. The coconut, cream, chocolate, sugar, almonds, and crust were all in perfect balance. The sugar was light and allowed all the flavors to blend into a delightful mix. Parking is a bit difficult when busy.

The KINDEST people!!!! On my husband’s way home, bringing our Christmas preordered pies a man almost hit him causing our pies to become one with our car floor. I called to see if I could buy other pies if they had any still in stock. They fully replaced our pies for FREE!! They saved our Christmas and I couldn’t be more grateful!

Happy Pi Day! Tried it today on a whim, although I have known about their delicious offerings from neighbors in East Dallas. Picked up gluten-free cherry pie and regular bayogoo.
Both were absolutely delicious, and the details on each were perfection. Can't wait to make them a regular in my rotation for host gifts.

So I have been craving for a Coconut Cream pie and have yet to find one in my area for some that is satisfying my craving. Went to a few places around my area and was very disappointed.
So while we were in downtown Dallas for lunch, we decided to look up pie shops, went to one in Deep Ellum and was disappointed because they didn’t even have Coconut cream pie.
So we called Humble: Simply Good Pies and asked if they had the Coconut cream Pie and the man on the phone said yes so on we went.
Arrived, walked in and it was definitely a pie shop. You can smell the pies cooking. The man who created us was super friendly and nice. He explained his process of pie making which is pretty cool. And yes, they had the coconut cream pie. We ordered a slice of the coconut cream pie as well as the coconut joy. OMG, my craving was satisfied. One of the best coconut cream pie I’ve had. It tasted like a home cooked pie. It wasn’t to sweet and the crust was delicious. The cream was so fluffy. The coconut joy was good too. the chocolate mousse wasn’t too sweet. But I like the original coconut cream better.
Overall it was great and would definitely be back. I found my pie shop. There were other flavors that I would like to try for next time. The pie was $6 a pie and well worth it. It is such a cute little quaint place. Such a cute place for a dessert date.

Hear me out. The hubby went out of town for the weekend and I am having major surgery Monday morning.
So, alone and needing some comfort before my live changes for a few months I went to Humble Pie to get a "pie hug". (I'm sure some of you have had that feeling.) Boy O Boy did they come through.
Their "Bloosoms Coconut Joy" pie was so good. Perfectly balanced and decadent. Exactly what I needed, when I needed it.
Thank you for being there for me when I needed you most. 😜

If you are looking for a WOW factor, all I can say is OMG! We had a tasting with Erin for
our wedding. They have all fresh ingredients, and it's all homemade products, and this has the WOW factor. Chef Sean even came out for questions and gave us a little science behind the products. Who does that? If you are looking for any type of event, this place should be on your list for desserts. There are other perks to hiring Humple Pies, but you have scheduled a tasting to find out. Yep, I just pulled a radio advertisement on you. If I told you everything, you would bypass them. Would recommend over and over and over. We booked them for our wedding in April. They book fast so don't wait.

My husband and I stopped in yesterday during opening week to buy a Blossom Coconut Joy pie (a pie we tried at the owner's taste testing). We also had slices of apple and chocolate cream.
The apple is honestly the best apple pie I've ever had, and I'm very discerning about apple pie. The slices of apple were perfectly tart and sweet, but not overly sweet. The pie crust complemented the filling, with a flaky, buttery crust. My husband really enjoyed his chocolate cream pie slice as well.
I just tried the Blossom Coconut Joy and it's better than I remember! The chocolate is not your run-of-the-mill chocolate. According to the owner, it's a cream-de-pot (spelling?), a high quality chocolate filling, which comes through in every bite. The coconut cream layer is fantastic, and you can taste just enough coconut to balance it out. The whipped cream on top is delicate and light, topped with shaved almonds and chocolate shavings.
The shop itself is lovely and homey, with a really cool quirky design scheme. It's a great place to hang out and enjoy some pie and coffee.
I can't say enough about the owners. This pie shop has been a dream of theirs for a while, and they've injected their passion and love into every bit of the shop and the pie recipes �
I highly recommend Humble Pies! Go try it. You'll be delighted with the entire experience!

i ordered a fresh peach gluten free pie for the 4th. it was without a doubt the best tasting pie I have ever had. I usually eat the inside and throw the crust out as gluten free is horrible pie crust but these folks have mastered it. thanks

Yummy yummy yummy pie! Plus super nice staff& owners. So glad they are finally open! We went to grab 1 slice each, among multiple options. They all looked so good, we ended up with 2 of each, to-go. Ha ha! All were delish!. They will rotate seasonally, & since it's summer, we got all-berry pie (delicious& tart like cobbler), lemon ice box, traditional Apple, and lemon chess (think buttermilk...) All super yummy � AND very good crust too. Highly recommend. U can buy whole pies too.

Erin and Sean from Humble Pies worked it out so that I could pick up my pie during the busy Thanksgiving weekend so I could share with my family. I absolutely intend to get a pie every time I'm in town. I ordered the apple pie and it was delicious! The crust was flakey and the apples we're still crisp. So delicious.
