First time trying Moon Wok and I ordered the chicken lo mein spicy, it was literally so delicious and good. Everything was cooked fresh, the spicy sauce was flavorful, not too spicy or overbearing, and the portion was big enough to share. The restaurant was clean and the servers were very nice and helpful. Definitely rate 10/10 and will be returning.

The food is exceptional with A1 quality and loads of options and every meal can be customized to your exact taste. The service is great and even delivery is fast. There’s simply not a better Chinese joint in DFW.

Hubby and I decided to try this place after searching for a small, local Chinese restaurant. The reviews were pretty good, so we offered takeout. The food was ready in about 5-10 minutes, so we didn't wait long. Our bag was HEAVY, which was impressive, considering the inexpensive price. I ordered pepper steak w/brown rice and hubby ordered sesame chicken w/fried rice and egg roll. We LOVED it! Both dishes were flavorful, tender (chicken and beef), and, as previously mentioned, PLENTIFUL. Service was fine (transaction was quick, as we placed our order, got our food and left). I absolutely recommend this place for tasty, inexpensive Chinese food.

I have been coming to Moon Wok for quite sometime. I usually just come here for take out Mogo Gai Pan and Chicken Eggrolls. I just love their food. I would really suggest that you try their foods. The serving portion is really good for the lesser amount of money you will be paying for. This time because I am starving, I caught their Lunch Special. For less than $10.00, I ordered Chicken with String Beans, Steamed Rice and with Chicken Eggrolls. Bon-appetite!

I called in an order and it was ready in 10 minutes! Good service. Love the combo fried rice - large pieces of egg, white meat chicken, pork, and big shrimp. chicken egg roll is delish. I'll be back!

Shrimp fried rice and egg drop soup was really good. They put eggs in the rice, which is something I haven't seen in a long time. The soup is nice and thick and plenty of eggs, I'm craving it now.

Best jalapeno chicken I've had in Dallas. Absolutely the best egg drop soup I've had from any Chinese restaurant.

This is the biggest, yummiest, eggiest, meatiest pork fried rice I have ever had! I was at the high noon Mass for The Assumption of Mary at St. Patrick. Our priest Father Ignacio spoke of his memories of this occasion from his earliest days. He mentioned how as a small child he always looked forward to the celebration that came after, with sweet breads and chocolate! At the end of his homily, he suggested going to a nice lunch to continue our celebration of Mary, the Mother of Christ. Driving away, I was smitten with a massive craving for pork fried rice. Not being familiar with the non-buffet-oriented Chinese restaurants in the area, I went online to find a candidate, hoping in the process to identify a future locality for non-buffet Chinese dining. I found Moon Wok and walked in. I spoke to the lady at the counter and told her I wanted a BIG PORK FRIED RICE! And add an egg roll and a drink. Son, I was NOT disappoint! When I saw the plate coming at me like a battering ram, I already knew I was going to be getting a to-go box. The large dish was piled inches high with ricey, meaty goodness, and they certainly didn't let me down in the egg category. The egg pieces were numerous, large, yellow and voluminous. I was really thinking about the eggs on the way there. They're critical and I was amazed that I didn't even have to ask for a lot of egg as I thought I might. And the meat... no mere, small cubes of pork, but great, honking HUNKS of pork white meat. Behind every grain of rice was a hunk of pork! I found myself pushing away pork to get at the rice! And the old restaurant trick that we've all come to expect was not employed here. The meat was not just stacked on top to make it look like there was a lot. There really WAS a lot! All throughout the rice, from large pieces all the way down to small pieces! It was very fun digging through there with my chopsticks, because I always knew there'd be more porcine goodness at every turn. And it was TENDER and flavorful! The egg roll was great, as well. I won't expend too much energy on the description. It held it's own. That much I will say. The rest of the dish was your usual peas and carrots... and I added a good amount of soy sauce (after I tasted the fried rice first!!!!) and it was a creation from Heaven! This was the best pork fried rice I've ever had in 53 years of life!!!!! And I still have HALF of it at home for later!!!!!! All this for $11.03! :-D I must say... this was a meal fit for the celebration of The Assumption of Mary! Thanks, Father Ignacio, for the suggestion! I WILL be back here again. As usual, four stars is like five from me. They may grow to five stars after I've been there a few more times, but five stars is a measure of continuing quality and service, so it can't really be assessed in a single visit.
