This is a great location with amazing food, good drink specials and great atmosphere. My husband and I came for my birthday and really enjoyed it. They have everything. Also they said they have a brunch menu as well so looking forward to trying that out.

Such incredible ambience! The decor and interior design is stunning. Cocktails are a bit pricey, but have great presentation. One of the best Caesar salads I’ve ever had. Burger was great. Loved that it was served on a silver platter. You can skip the salmon dip, wasn’t great, wasn’t bad. The chocolate mousse was decadent and rich and quite frankly superb. The hostess was delightful & wonderful! But the waiter was so slow, and forgot to get our drinks even after 40 minutes and bringing the appetizers. The upstairs is super cute!

What to do on a severe weather night? Check out a want to go place. First timers here and I can say although it was a quiet night the staff, food, and drinks were on point.
The gin sour is perfect and the Japanese cucumber Colin's is like Suntory Highball with cucumber.
We shared the Ceasar salad which is perfect for 2 or 3. You could make it a meal by yourself, especially with protein.
For the encore we had a Nashville Hot chicken sandwich and a cheese burger that were worth every penny. The Mac & Cheese and asparagus are sure to make the tables night.
We didn't make it to dessert. Next time...

This place is super cute and will become a favorite in my brunch rotation. The food was great and the service was on point! I love the fact that they actually have a parking lot. That's almost a rarity for the area.

This place has become one of our favorite spots to visit. The building, it’s vibe and the array of different seating rooms and areas are really neat. We literally only have to walk 1 block to get to it so it’s totally convenient. The staff has always been super nice. The manager Alejandro is always extremely polite and always takes the time to stop and visit and talk with us when we visit. Our last visit was for their Thanksgiving Dinner and it was such a fun time and the food was so good! Totally recommend this place.

We sat on the patio. It was such a vibe, especially around 8 or 9 at night when it's not as hot. We came during the pandemic so there weren't many people there which was fine by me. We ordered a cheese and meat tray for the table which was GREAT! I had the lamb chops, mashed potatoes, asparagus and Mac & cheese for dinner. The sides were good but the lamb chops were mediocre at best. I would not order them again. My friend said the shrimp and grits was good though.
I would recommend the Japanese cucumber drink on their menu, it was great.
My overall experience including the service was great!

My friends and I were very impressed with Merchant House. Of note: the descriptions on the menu do not do the food justice! We tried four share dishes at our table and each one exceeded our expectations. Each had a unique and creative combination of flavors. The cocktails were stellar as well, and were again unlike much anything else I have had in Dallas. The interior is nice, and the rooftop lounge is going to be a lovely spot as the weather cools down a bit. We will definitely be headed back soon!

Recently visited Merchant House for lunch and LOVED it! The selfless/selfish menu concept was so unique! I can’t wait to come back and try their brunch and dinner menus! Highly recommend! The food was excellent, the waitress was very friendly and seemed like she genuinely loved her job. She told us about the history of the restaurant and explained the origins of the menu items! It was a cool experience for my coworkers and me!

LOVE this place.. it has a New Orleans feel to it, very relaxing atmosphere. My boyfriend and I had dinner here last night and the service was impeccable. I wish I would have asked the young woman's name behind the bar because she was top notch and knew the menu well. Drinks were great and the food... THE FOOD... was so good. We had the Ahi tuna nacho's, lollipop lamb chops and because we were being greedy we also had the Nashville style hot chicken. I will tell you right now I've had lamb chops from some of the most "prestigious" restaurants in the United States as well as out of the country and these by far had to be the best I've ever tasted. Definitely our new hot spot :)

Came with a group of friends on a Tuesday night around 8. We were greeted and promptely seated. We shared a cocktail for 4 and each had a cocktail to ourselves. The presentation and flavor of the cocktails was incrediable!! We ordered several appetizers and shared tapa style. Everything was amazing. Would love to come back and try the main courses or just for a happy hour

Soooo excited this place is in my neighborhood. The inside is adorable! We sat upstairs in the lounge area and had amazing drinks! The service was spot on and the food was delicious! This will definitely be our new hang out.
