This is the archetypal gas station taco joint; fantastic tacos with simple picnic tables in an enclosed patio. The food is amazing, the bistec was flavorful and tender but with little charred crunchy bits in the edges. The breakfast tacos are the best I've had in DFW so far. Definitely worth the stop even just for a snack.
Quick services depending on the time of day, at lunch it can be busy though. The tacos are good had some steak and chicken, comes with onion and cilantro. Salsa were okay - good place if you’re craving tacos for lunch,

Best tacos in Dallas in my opinion! I recommend the chicken tacos on corn, add cheese if you want to make them even better! Been a fan of this place for years, I wish they still had their location in Plano but I’m happy to drive to Dallas for these delicious tacos
My first taste of a taco was in Southern California when I was in high school. Yup, Taco Bell. I’ve come a long way from those immature taste buds and discovered real Mexican tacos, north of Austin. This incredible spot, blink-and-you’ll-miss-it-while-you’re-speeding-west-on-Gaston, serves the real thing! Beef fajita tacos and the chicken fajita ones with the cilantro and fresh diced onions, in or on, are perfect. Count on 3-5 per person. The place for good food, great service, and an inexpensive meal to bring home. Pass me a cold one.
2 locations 1 on Carroll 1 on Gaston. Menus in Spanish and English. Both usually have lunch rush lines out the door, well worth a 15 min wait time. Dont let the limited parking stop you. Delicious tortas and tacos. One of the tastiest lunches or snacks you can find in dallas for under $10. Get extra meat for at home nachos or taco pizza. Never leave us, la banqueta or I will have to move to Mexico because life without these tacos is no life at all.

This time I will not only talk about how good the tacos are here. if not I want to tell you what I found in this place was a large collection of antiques (which you can see in my photos) but the most impressive thing is that each object has a story. come see it with your own eyes
A little shocked by some of the low rated reviews about the service here and the food. This was my first time in Texas and this place did authentic tacos justice. I can’t remember the last time I had a homemade corn tortilla. The tacos were fresh and delicious. The service was good and tacos did take a few minutes, but it was well worth the wait. I wanted to go back for more but we were on a time crunch :( To everyone being a crazy critic about these tacos, you’re nuts. This place was so good I would come back to Texas just to have these tacos again. They were so good I couldn’t even take a picture, I just knew I had to devour them! Haha. Also warning one of the sauces is super spicy but so worth the burn for all the flavor.
