Kind of warm inside, but towards the back was cooler. Food came out fast & hot. Complimentary salsa was rather boring though. Fresh, hot, thin tortilla chips which I love. Chile con queso was just okay, not great nor horrible. But actual food was nice. We cleaned our plates. Will definitely go back.
After 40 + years driving by,finally stopped in. Enjoyed a large platter of good Mexican food. A little different from standard same old Mexican food. Good sweet tea,chips and hot sauce. Had the Deluxe plate. First got a plate with a tostada spread with guacamole with a loaded beef taco. 2nd platter had three enchiladas,one beef with ranchero sauce,one chicken with sour cream sauce,one cheese with chili con carne, rice and beans. Lot of food. Many other items I want to try. Friendly service.

The food is good as well as the device, however the Whole Place needs a more inviting atmosphere. It is extremely outdated and I understand that it’s a Mom & Pop business but COME ON! The most modern item in the place is a 50” tv that they will play sports ext. THIS IS A BYOB PLACE and it isn’t advertised anywhere! So if you’re looking for quiet, antique, great service and good food-this is the spot for you.

Food out at 8:15 pm...hot and delicious food. I took my guacamole salad added ranch omj sooooo good. I really like that you automatically get corn tortillas at a lot of other Mexican Restaurants you have to pay extra here its the flour ones thats extra $'s....
My cousin and I (especially her, loves 💘 this place) she did though have to send back her soft cheese taco it was VERY TOUGH (Rubbery). My chicken sour cream enchiladas were Awesome as the rice and beans are too. I got iced tea (rather a margarita 🍸 but they do not serve alchol 😢to drink) (sweet) it was perfect.
Telma the waitress immediately brought her a hot new soft cheese taco it was great.
We finished our dinner at 9:00 pm. As others still inside we sat and packed up our left overs and relaxed and talked. The total bill for 2 people with A LOT of food was $40.00+ $ a great price for great food and great music and Excellent service from Telma and a very lovely atmosphere.

Ok if you are searching reviews right now because you want Mexican food, just get in the car and start over to this place. This is absolutely the most delicious Mexican food I’ve eaten. And the hot sauce…. We go and buy it to take home regularly. Go here and eat. It’s really good y’all.
Decent Mexican food. Clean restaurant. I'll admit that it is not as good as it was when the old man Cavasos was running it. But it's still pretty good.
