Rafa’s Café Mexicano always delivers! My absolute favorite dish is the Steve’s Steak Tacos. My mouth waters just thinking about it! It is the absolute best AUTHENTIC Mexican restaurant in the Dallas/Park Cities area next to my mother-in-law’s kitchen. If you’ve never been GO… IMMEDIATELY!
We happened upon Rafa’s while out running errands. We were blown away by the warm and welcoming staff and of course the food was delicious (at a reasonable price). Love this place, we will be back
I've been here many times with my mom and dad who live around the corner. They always call him by his name when he comes in. Wonderful food and wonderful waitstaff who treat us like family. We will continue to patronize Rafa's for a long long time!
Daytime is super chill and waiters are attentive and super friendly. Definitely gonna go back.

Not only their food is amazing , their customer service is perfect. Because of this pandemic we usually seat out door, as they did not have available seat for us , the manager was so kind and brought us another table for the outdoor so we could seat , eat our food and enjoy the weather. Surprisingly good! Overall experience was amazing. Staff friendly and on top of everything. By the way parking facing lovers lane is available parking even though its shows to be reserved for other businesses. Rafa's has a sign posted on their door confirming this.
Excellent food...we had fajitas, puffy taco, cheese taco and cheese enchiladas. All was really good. Salsa is spicy but really good. Meat was seasoned well and very tender.
I picked food up to go. They have a 6% togo charge but the food was plentiful and the tacos were amazing. While I was waiting Jose offered me some water.

We have been going to Rafa's for years and think it is one of the best Tex-Mex restaurants is Dallas. The service can be spotty, except for Jose, who has been there over 30 years. He is a pro!
I was really just looking for a place to get Mexican food. I searched google and found several within a mile. Good rating and chosen from a rider's suggestion, I drive for Uber, and thought we would try it.

Staple of old Dallas. Love the food. Sometimes the bar service is hit or miss, but we always come back. Only drawback is parking sucks but not really their fault.

The house margaritas were unbelievable, very tasty. The enchiladas plate had ground meat, not meat paste. I had not been there in 15 years because we moved to the other side of town. This is my old / new favorite Mexican restaurant. I will be back.
