Not really all that British other than the name and decorations, but good booze, decent bar food and good for a little dancing.
Had the honey buffalo chicken salad. Was amazing! As good as I've had.. enough to eat as a meal and as good as I've had! Drinks are good, staff is better and its near everything.
They have vary good service and delicious food
Nice venue with plenty of seating and a healthy list of beers on tap and in bottles. The wait staff and bartender were kind and expeditious.
Visited on open mic night. The MC was quite funny but the crowd - full of stand-up hopefuls - was quite placid (both in their seats and up on stage). Can't hold that against the establishment.
So, I'll likely visit for happy hour next time I'm in town...so long as it's not open mic night.
This place is fun! I was last here for a social meetup on the patio, and the service was pretty decent for being 20 plus people in our group! I chose to go in and order from the bar tender, she was kind and helpful while I was ordering my drink and later when I ordered food, she was friendly and quite delightful! Also love the fact that this restaurant/bar has a movie screen and played on of my favorite Wes Anderson films while i was having my dinner! Super chill, clean, and comfortable place to spend an evening!
This is THE place to go. Great staff, great management and the drinks are top notch. Low key and fun on the weekdays, and a energetic atmosphere on weekend nights. College football on tons of TVs, the Chelsea club meets here, as well as the Bayern Munich club (if you're a soccer fan. It's a sports bar, but also has a cool neighborhood feel and people will really get to know you. Can't beat em!
I have come here for many different occasions including World Cup viewing recently. I’ve been here when it’s been quiet and calm as well.
Staff is the best in uptown in my opinion, good attitudes, hard working, efficient, and knowledgeable. Prices are good for uptown too.
There is no shortage of TVs to watch whatever you want, and most of the food is pretty good.
This isn’t family friendly, it’s a pub .
Would like to see a little more mitigation at the door as it gets soooo crowded so quickly.
Reserve a table if you have a large group.

I have been going here on Thursday nights this past year, mainly for karaoke with the band OVERDRIVE. I would sometimes eat here, as they have a great bar and grill menu, especially the "bangers and mash", and a great bar selection with a wide variety of beers! I was disappointed on arriving on 2/13/'20 to find that the karaoke band had been replaced with a KJ who seemed inexperienced with his equipment, and a crowd which seemed disinterested in participating! The previous crowd was always lively and involved with karaoke and dancing and having a good time! I probably won't be going back anytime soon!
Busy establishment where parking is very difficult but it's worth the effort or choose valet parking on weekends. (Ubering there would be wise). Excellent live bands Friday's and Saturday nights that play a surprisingly wide range of genre of 70's, 80's, 90's and more current music. Food is good. The Spinach and artichoke dip w chips is great. The burgers are decent but don't expect "Twisted root". The variety of alcohol choices is very good and prices are as expected for the Uptown area. Try the Cobbler dessert...it's amazing!
Met some friends for an open poker night. First off atmosphere was welcoming and friendly staff was generous and inviting. Pricing was perfect location awesome honestly best way I've relaxed on a Monday. Gonna give it a shot on the weekend see how that goes I'm sure they wont dissappoint
