Smokey Joe's Bar-b-que - Dallas - Photo album

I ordered the rib sandwich, it comes deconstructed w/ bone-in ribs... Brisket 1/2 lb. on the fat side & it was really good!! Side of Beverly's beans- very tasty. You can see why they're on the top 50 list... especially w/ that 5* brisket!
I was in the area and was craving for some barbecue. I found this place, which was good for me. I tried the Triple platter, it includes 1/3 of brisket, 1 sausage and 1 rib, a choice of side, vinegar onions, jalapeños, 2 slides of bread and the barbecue sauce on the side. First, the sauce was delicio
Great place. Service and hospitality were amazing. Food was great too. Potato salad was to die for. Brisket solid. Turkey delicious. Pickles tasted like candy!
I only gave the atmosphere 3 stars because of them benches, they not friendly to the behind. Customer service was good but nothing special. They took our order and gave us our food, so that is my total experience, not bad but nothing special. Food was on point and delicious. That brisket mac n che
Drove over 30 min to try this place and it was so worth it. We got the “The Jamal” and Brisket Nachos. Both were delicious. The brisket and ribs were stand outs. This is some of the best bbq in DFW/Texas.
Nice atmosphere, friendly people & good food. Seating was uncomfortable. Got the Maxi Sandwich with ribs & sweet potato pie. Sandwich was amazing. Great flavor with the pickled onions and pickles. Ribs were juicy and fall off the bone.
Cool spot off the service road. I was told their black owned. Great customer service. They do take care of you. I went late, like closing time, and the food was still fresh and good. The hot water cornbread is delicious. I believe they also serve the bbq plates with delicious potato bread. Give th
My friend Joe from Zavala’s BBQ took us here and Wow! Everything we had was so good and the meats were so tender they did not need a sauce at all. My personal favorite was the brisket. The sides were delicious too especially the beans and Mac and cheese. Bring friends so you can try everything!
Stumbled across this place by a mistake in review for my friend. It was kind of hilarious actually but glad we did... This place is kind of off the beaten path, but the building outside is beautiful. You walk inside. It looks like a typical Texas barbecue place but very updated. The girl at the wind
This is our first time back under new ownership & with the renovations. My husband chose the Jamal , stuffed baker with three different meats & all the trimmings! He loved it , but not as much as he enjoyed the loaded Mac -n- cheese! A bit pricey, but I guess they are keeping up with all the other
We are in Dallas, TX, visiting family and wanted to try some BBQ. We ended up going to Smokey Joe's. We got chicken, rib, brisket, mac-n-cheese, cucumber salad, brisket nacho, potato salad, and string beans.I was not a fan of the ribs it had a weird taste/ texture, and the mac-n-cheese was a no for
Straight to the point: Chopped brisket sandwich basket was great. Meat was very moist. Smokiness just right and not overdone. Fries were really good too. Even the ranch was really good (I think it’s homemade?). Would definitely come back if I was in there area. Long version: Stopped by on Friday, 0
