Ever since I moved to Dallas, Velvet taco was on my list. Heard so many good things and trust me, this place didn’t disappoint me. From Indian flavoured tacos to Korean mix, the variety is just amazing. I love their cauliflower taco, paneer taco, spicy tikka chicken, and used to love their falafel taco ( sadly that’s discontinued ). I love the vibes of the place, gives a pleasant happy hour ish feel throughout the day (which is great) . When my parents were visiting Dallas from India, they loveeeed the food here. Perfect for a quick yet delicious bite.
I’m just excited by the fact that there are so many newer locations opening closer to Frisco. Yayyy! *_*

Excellent fusion style tacos, and a lot of meat in each taco. Two tacos filled me up. Had the Spicy Tika and Chimichurri tacos, excellent flavor. The red curry queso was good too.

Somebody at this place must be insane, must be. Why, because nobody in their right mind would think of putting shrimp and grits on a taco. The taco was so good I could not fathom this was really happening. This taco had so much favorite it's ridiculous. If you like bacon, eggs, and pancakes, you can get a taste in a taco. Food lovers beware these folks are making tacosthat do not make sense, they are so good. I'm not even going to comment on the red velvet cake. Just know their name is velvet for a reason. The service wasn't the best but not the worst either. The atmosphere was ok, nothing spectacular. We went around 9pm and it was extremely cold inside. The patio was a welcomed alternative. If you go bring me back 4 of those crazy shrimp&grits tacos!

Picture shows the sweet Chile shrimp, chicken and waffles and the Chat GPTaco. Although expensive (~$20) for three tacos, they were really good flavor combinations and I was quite full afterwards.

I came to this spot with my husband for some tacos and got their red velvet cake to go, we enjoyed it a lot! The food is so fresh, I got the beef brisket and my husband got the fish tacos which he enjoyed a lot (brisket is my favourite). The service is awesome, the staff is super friendly and I’d love to visit again.

If you aren't sure what to get they can always recommend something for you. You can't miss with Velvet Taco, trust me!

The BEST tacos I have ever had!! Such a great taste. I ordered Chicken Tikka taco and Beef brisket taco. Both had a great taste!! I also tried the queso with chips!! Super delicious!! I will definitely be coming here again!! Great place to sit down and eat.
