We found this place on accident but I was so happy we did. The pastor quesadilla was so good and big enough I had left overs. All of their salsas were fantastic! The elotes were fantastic. During happy hour, the margaritas are so cheap! The staff were all very friendly. I would definitely come back here!

Almuerzo con mi hijo y mi hija. After an appointment in the area my son suggested Taqueria La Ventana. The service was good, the patio was perfect, the energy was vibrant. The food was ok… the Chicken (Pollo) tacos meh, they were dry but still tasty and the steak quesadilla was a bit tough BUT the Braised Beef (Barbacoa) tacos were very juicy and flavorful. The horchata was delicious and very refreshing. Parking is available on the street and around back. The prices were very good and we really enjoyed dining together on the patio! The misting fans were a nice touch🤩 Every patio should have them.

Good place too eat and drink. Great atmosphere and decor has a great Mexican Favor. The Margaritas are great, but I don’t like not being filled to the top. Tacos are good, but I have had better. I will return to dine again with friends. The only negative thing about the restaurant is the young lady taking orders. She needs to improve customer service. .

Go to taco spot for my friends & I! Their mango margs are my fave 🥭

Cool little spot for street tacos and margaritas. It’s an outside type of joint so plan for that. We went at lunch and it was pretty busy but not too long of a wait if you arrive early. I had carnitas and brisket tacos. Both were very good and the tortilla was fresh. Love a fresh one. These are street tacos so they aren’t huge, just the right size IMO. We will be going back.

I was visiting uptown Dallas and my bf recommended this taco place that he saw on google. We went in and we ordered 4 🌮 barbacoa tacos and 1 el pastor and chips and salsa, the chips were house made and the salsa was Spicy and awesome! It was a delicious lunch. Sorry it was so good that we forgot to take pictures. Dog friendly 🐶

Been coming here for years. The service keeps getting better and better. The food and drinks are always a 10/10. Idk if it’s new management but the customer service is fantastic, they are efficient, friendly, and the lovely employees are so hospitable without being too pushy. Love coming here for a casual dinner, or for a late-night drunk meal. I hope nothing but the best for the owners and the employees that make this thing happen every day.

Execellent authentic Mexican food with great customer service. I ordered two carne asada tacos, a horchata and an extra spicy potato taco they made me outside of the menu since I wanted something really hot! I loved the homemade corn tortillas. Great experience all around!

Margaritas are 🔥 I’d recommend the sangria swirl or watermelon. You never go wrong with the tacos.

Some of the best tacos I’ve had. Fast friendly service. Not a whole lot more to say. Always a favorite when I’m visiting Dallas

Came in to this spot and Yesenia was extremely helpful. This was my first time here and she explained the menu, happy hour and weekday specials thoroughly.. ordered the chicken quesadilla and pineapple margarita and was blown away. Definitely coming back since it’s in walking distance from my spot!! Would give 6 stars if I could ❤️

La Ventana is one of those rare places that perfectly mixes flavor, service, convenience, and prices. Their barbacoa is unmatched and I would sell my soul for their green sauce recipe (in the fridge by the drinks). Serving sizes are large!
The service is one of the many reasons I come here every single week. Yesenia at the front is always so nice to us and makes us feel like we are at home. Food always comes out quick.
My order:
- Barbacoa Burrito + guacamole
- Chips & Queso
- Diet Coke
Do yourself a favor and add La Ventana to your rotation. You won't be disappointed.

This tacqueria has exactly what you would expect - inexpensive tacos and food. I will say that I’m slightly disappointed in them. For $2 per taco, I don’t expect a filled taco, but they were definitely skimping on the filling. There was also no salsa or any onions to add to the tacos for a little bite. You can imagine that a super fatty taco could use a little acidity and crunch from veggies. They also did not have any hot sauces that were actually hot. Other tacqueries I’ve been to with a similar style had better tacos for the same or cheaper prices.
Their chicken taco had good flavor, the pork taco also was tasty, and their beef tongue taco was unique but somewhat bland.
They had a really nice queso and chips appetizer (the queso has onions and some other crunchy elements in it).
What stood out here were their churros con cojeta. Essentially it is churros filled with caramel. Talk about possibly the best dessert I’ve ever had!
Overall, this is a good place to experience if you have never been before.

I ordered the lengua tacos they were good but would hit the mark if they used the plancha cause the meat is just water cooked, the shrimp tacos not my favorite the elotes hit the mark but you have to add lemon otherwise the esquites don’t have that punch.

Authentic Street tacos. The carnitas seemed to be the best, the steak is a close second. Highly recommend. Quick service.
