Review Bangkok Inn - Dallas

Corn patties at the best I have had. Small local family owned business, the daughter now runs it. Awesome service and authentic food. A lakewood staple.

The food is very tasty and had lots of flavor. The atmosphere is very old and in need of a major update. This place has been around for a very long time based on pictures on the wall and it's obvious they are most focused on serving delicious food. Quick service but not very personable. Would recommend for the food.

Excellent, healthy & authentic food. While I was dining in several patrons were coming in for to-go orders. One can see why this is so popular.

This place is a hidden treasure! My friend lives very close and we dropped in last weekend. I'm glad we did. The food and service was great. We had the corn patties and spring rolls as appetizers and Pad Thai and Pad Se Ew (may be misspelled) all of which was great. I'll be back!

Wow. The portions are huge. Service was pretty friendly. The interior could use some work, like better tables. But it's a nice chill vibe at night and fantastic prices with great-tasting food. Highly recommended.

Everything was super delicious. Starting from the Thai tea to the pad Thai, dunken noodles..

Delicious! The Drunken Noodles with basil was awesome. Fast and friendly service. This place was founded in 1982 and continues to be a family run business. The great reviews are spot on. Check it out!

Very authentic Thai cuisine. The Tom Ka Gai was so rich, flavorful, and absolutely delicious. The Pork Larb was fantastic. Also tried the Beef Oyster sauce dinner and it was a wonderful dish. Full of flavor. And when you ask for Hot they actually make it Hot. So happy with that. So many do not make it hot enough for me.

Delicious food! The staff is also very kind. 😊 I will definitely come back to try different menu items.

Bangkok Inn is for family dinner almost weekly!! We love it here. The family that runs it is friendly and extremely talented at cooking. We love to split the appetizers (corn patties, dumplings, fried tofu, and the egg rolls are our go to). The pad Thai and peanut chicken are the best we have ever had. The pineapple fried rice is my husband's favorite. We have never had a dish here that we didn't absolute love! Plus it's BYOB and they provide the glasses!! 🥂🍷 They do dine in, carryout, and delivery!!! 10/10 must eat here right now!!

We have loved eating at the Bangkok Inn for 30+ years. The next generation has taken over from their parents and are keeping the tradition of delicious food alive and well. Best Pad Thai in Dallas!

Hands down favorite Thai place in Dallas. We order here every couple weeks and it never disappoints. Family run establishment and they're all super nice! Very reasonable prices too! Definitely a hidden gem in Dallas.

This is a small restaurant but with big flavors!! We were more were more satisfied. The only problem was that they were clearly short staffed. I felt like we had no time to look or decide bc the poor lady was running like the kitchen was on fire. I can't hold that against them. I've heard it has been there for the past 50 yrs, and I think iys important important support those small businesses. Check em out!

Absolutely incredible! Really enjoyed the Pad King with chicken, spring rolls (loved the peanut sauce!), & Tom Ka Kha soup - wow!

Tried the yellow and red curries with beef. This is one of the more flavorful curries I've had in the area, I prefer Thai Monkey in Irving tho, but it is probably a close second behind that. The beef was not very good tho, it seemed very different than what other Thai places use, kind of gamey and stringy and dry. I've never eaten around the meat in a curry, normally the meat would be my favorite part but it just wasn't great. Also asked for one curry to be spicy but it came medium like the other. The flavor of the red pineapple curry was great but I wasn't a big fan of anything in it other than the sauce, so I would say get the panang over the red pineapple curry. Good place!

i am always a happier person after visiting this place. the food is made with love. the family run operation never makes me feel like it’s just a business. tonight they had young musicians from the buddhist cultural center playing thai music. it made for a wonderful evening. if you have never been here, do yourself a favor and do it soon!!

It's always outstanding....I'm trying different menu items finally and they're all as outstanding as my favorite Pad Thai. Last night's chicken and glass noodles was outstanding. The garlic and veggies were aromatic and mouth watering.

excellent food! about the only place in dallas that will really serve you thai hot! although the tom yam gai soup and pad ka pow beef were a little sweet, the flavors were much like what we had in central and southern thailand last year. also, the service was superb and extra friendly. a new favorite!

I brought my mom to Bangkok Inn last night for dinner and she's still talking about how great dinner was.
