The Playwright Irish Pub - Dallas - Photo album

I had a wonderful time at The Playwright! We went there after the place we wanted to go to ended up being permanently closed, and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Great whiskey list, the old fashioned was perfect. Everything we ate was DELICIOUS. We had Wisconsin spicy cheese curds, the monte cristo
Loved this place -- we will be back. Sat on the back patio, weather was perfect. Henry our server took great care of us -- recommended the Scottish Eggs. So we had the Scottish eggs thinking "light bite"... then after finishing those needed to order a second plate of them! Snakebite with Magners Ci
What an amazing Irish Pub! We were on our way to watch the Opera and had a very short time to snack. The service was incredibly fast and the food was delicious. Everyone had a smile on their face, even when it was busy! We will definitely be back!
Everything was wonderful! I went here on a date with my boyfriend and got the Fish n' Chips with Guinness Cheese! (I wanted to take a gallon of that cheese home! Lol) Our waitress was a tad nervous, but very nice, hospitable and attentive. She did a phenomenal job and I hope to see her again! Thank
We are here last night and it the food was DELICIOUS!! Look at the fish and chips~~ It was about a foot long solid piece of fish. And the hamburger had wonderful flavor. Also the music was just the right volume so we could talk to each other without yelling 😂 which was a huge plus and oddly hard to
I keep forgetting to post my review about this nice little pub. The decor of the place is a pub 👌🏼 😎 but on to the food, my husband heard about the fish and chips here, and he knows I love a good fish and chips 🍟 😋 🙌🏼 when I ordered the fish 🐟 I was expecting to see like you normally get, the cod s
This place is 1000 times better than the Yolk. Don't waste your time in line. Just go to Playwright Irish Pub that's in front and have some Smithwicks Red Ales instead.
This is the finest pub I've ever visited. I'm considering having my mail forwarded and changing my address to this little portal to heaven. The food, drink, service AND atmosphere are unsurpassed! There are few places I give bad reviews, but even fewer get glowing reviews... The Playwright is most d
This pub is superb! We had a great time! Food and service were excelent! Thanks!
Who knew an Irish pub would have curry chicken?! I know what you're thinking, but if my friend from Ivory Coast says it's good then it's good! It really is a lot of food and tastes more like Indian curry. Loved the $5 mimosas and the vibe was more welcoming than Yolk. We sat and ate a whole meal her
While waiting for our table at Yolk for brunch we stopped inside for a drink at Playwright. What a great Irish Pub. The setting was very much like a real Irish Pub. The food menu looked good, as did the Irish Wiskey, Scotch and beer offerings. We went with the pint of Guinness based on time avail
Traditional Irish Pub with a welcoming vibe. I was there on a Wednesday night, so weekends could be entirely different. They were playing Christmas music and there was a cheerful buzz about the place. It just felt cozy. Half off Wiskey in Wednesday! Although I opted for a Half n Half. Good food o
Very cool Irish pub with a great variety of drinks and beers. Food options are good too, the Johny Jump Up burger was really good. The best I had today was the What the Phunk? cocktail, it was unique and delicious. Then I had El Diablo, great for those who like Mezcal. Will stop by here every chance
Great food, great service, only thing missing when I've been has been some live music. valet parking is a nice touch.
