Incredible Christmas Eve dinner here for our first visit to Homewood. Generous quantities, perfect cook, unique flavors. Menu rotates constantly so it’s truly farm to table. Restaurant feels so homey and connected with a fully exposed kitchen and a ton of fun seating options.
Tiny place, great service. A little loud, but good vibes and atmosphere. My favorite Caesar although its relatively the highest price item. The place isnt cheap, but not ridiculous. My guest said the Gnocchi was the best ever. My unimaginative choice, the chicken, was delicious hot and juicy. Loved the peas and lettuce accompanied. I did not taste the tartar, but looked great. Large wine list, no popular wines, i guess by design. Ill definitely put this in the rotation.
Thoroughly enjoyed Matt McAlister’s newest restaurant. I still put FT33 slightly above this, and Filament shouldn’t even be mentioned with these 2.
New location is great, easy parking with valet. Ambiance was like a neighborhood restaurant, upscale casual, our party happened to be seated at the table right by the open kitchen, similar to the Chef’s table at FT33.
Service was excellent. We basically had our server order everything for us. We had a vegetarian in our party and our server was on point and ordered just the right amount. The timing of the dishes was spot on.
Cocktails were delicious and unique, but not quite up to par with FT33. I prefer more spirit forward drinks, but none of the ones we ordered off the menu were that style.
Food was delicious, tapas style. The gnocchi was probably the stand out dish for me. Along with the rolls and the chicken drippings with cheese dip.
Would likely come back as the menu is seasonal and I would like to see what else they come up with.
Absolutely incredible seasonal food. The Citrus and Alpine Cheese Salad is so fresh. The dishes are creative, savory, and beautiful. The service is friendly and fast. Ambiance is unique with deep green accents and a sunken bar that sits lower than most... believe the hype.
I've been wanting to try this restaurant out, and finally splurged on an amazing dining experience.
Very attentive waitstaff, expert sommelier, and talented mixologists!
All of the food with the exception of the fish, is locally sourced and full of flavor. This menu is super unique, and created with care. If you want comfort food with a twist, then this is the dining experience for you!
My number 1 suggestion: I normally don't eat meat, but knew I wanted to try the Duck Breast, which was incredible.
Homewood is the best restaurant in Dallas.
The service, quality and attention to detail are unmatched in the DFW area.
The menu may change weekly but I can safely say there is never a bad choice. This is also exciting because going one week and then a few weeks later might present completely different options.
If you're looking for where to eat in Dallas, look no further, this is it.

Didn't have any expectations going in and ended up blown away. I was mad at myself for eating beignets earlier and not leaving enough room for dinner. Food was amazing, service was excellent. On the pricey side but to me totally worth it. I don't trek out from the burbs often because I detest city driving/parking but I will be making exceptions for meals here.

The service and food were top notch! The vibe and feel of the restaurant is awesome and the people were great. Super creative dishes and beautiful execution. Props to the chef and team at Homewood!
WOW. Talk about an impressive meal. The soft shell crab? Amazing. The Caesar salad? Oh my gosh, so good. The halibut? Incredible! And the desserts were so enticing, I had to try 3. Highly highly recommend.
Incredible from start to finish. Friendly staff and the best food I’ve had in Dallas. They buy locally, cook seasonally, make everything from scratch and preserve/can/ferment. This is how we should approach food. Bravo! Every bite was to die for.
