The very finest thing about the Mermaid Bar is your wonderful Bartender, Jonnie M, who always makes our collective (4 guests) experience a true celebration! Our particular group hails from Ft. Worth, all the way west to Beverly Hills. Thanks to Jonnie’s adept way to impart diplomacy and genteelness, we ladies have made a quarterly tradition of meeting for Champagne and merrymaking at NM Mermaid Bar.
Jonnie is a Neiman Marcus treasure!

Johnny is always friendly and in a good mood. Every time I go to North Park I always stop by the bar to pay a visit because I know it’ll be good service. Lunch at the Mermaid Bar after shopping for Christmas presents is a delight. Neiman's is always such a wonderful place to spend time, especially around the holidays. Wonderful atmosphere, fantastic food (and you must get the spiced iced tea...delish), and extremely welcoming staff! Highly recommend. And if you can, sit at the counter and Johnie the bartender will ensure you have a fantastic meal. Save room for the cake! Love, love, love Neiman Marcus.

Update 10/30/2023: Estella was our server again today and she is always great! We highly recommend the Chicken Chicken Salad and the Duke of Windsor sandwich are fantastic . And of course you must share a slice of cake - we recommend the coconut cake. Update 8/19/2022 - the food and service are consistently great. Lobster roll is stellar as is the salmon. The grilled pimento cheese sandwich is truly memorable. The carrot cake is fantastic. Really excellent food and service.

If you are looking for a fun girls night, this is your spot. Cocktails are too sweet but for a glass of bubbles I would be back! The service is 5 star ⭐️ there was a gentlemen young, dark hair, stylish and going to school for fashion. I forgot his name but the sweetest guy, took photos, got cocktails and friendly. Amazing music, they have bubbles blowing in the wind and the atmosphere is beautiful! All details were thought out.
