Came here for lunch with family and the food was pretty good. The service was very friendly. Overall it was a positive experience but my main issue was with the dessert.
I had ordered a different dessert and received the brownie and ice cream instead. While the dessert was good, no one had noticed or cared to mention that the wrong dessert had arrived.

I went here because I have a cousin that is a great chef and she told me to visit this places so I decided to go. The place is not the prettiest but food was excellent. To start I ordered the flautas ahogadas and the street corn and were upstanding. Then, ordered the enchiladas that also were delicious. I forgot the name of the waiter but he was great. Definitely 100% recommend it and I’ll be back when I’m in town.

Co workers wanted to try for lunch a couple. Nice decor, somewhat trendy. The service was great. Salsas had good flavor and chips were fresh. We had the guacamole and chips appetizer. I ordered the ceviche appetizer as my main dish. It was plated great, was a good size portion, but not as fresh as I hoped for. I wasn't able to finish it as the fish was almost a little mushy. My coworkers' experience was much better than mine. I'd give them another try.

We heard good things about this restaurant, so went to try it for Lunch. The Food was good, but the servings were MUCH smaller than we expected. My "Crab Cakes" were $18 & should have been on the Appetizer List.
Excellent Margarita's, but again, small & overpriced.
Service is very slow. After waiting 20min, we had to ask the Hostess to find our Waiter so we could tab out.
We saw other dishes on other tables that looked really good so we will try it again. But definitely not impressed with the 1st visit.

Started with chips and some of the best green salsa I've ever eaten chased by a fantastic cocktail, followed that with the tacos de tacha after being wisely and warmly counseled to keep my order to only one dish, and finished with another even better cocktail and a thankfully fleeting thought of ordering another dish because the tacos were that good. One of those places where everything doesn't just look delicious, it looks interesting and fun to eat. Loved all of it.

Loved this place! They seemed a little understaffed so the service wasn’t quite as consistent as I would have liked but all of the staff were very friendly and professional. The décor and atmosphere are fun and chic. I love that there is an outside portion for seating as well. The food was all phenomenal and I especially liked the tortillas. Additionally they also have mocktails for people who don’t drink alcohol but still want a pretty drink. Would recommend and will be back!

Tonight was one of the best nights of my life. I'm typing this as they're dimming the lights to match a setting sun, creating a backdrop to a long awaited family reunion.
The food is exquisite, superb; mango-habanero aioli, short-rib enchiladas, ahi tuna appetizers were my rockstars. You could even see the chef's style with the aioli, which is something my eyes never notice or pay attention to.
Leslie, our server, was the captain of our ship and the glue to our family experience. Her smile, confident calm presence, kindness, and pairing suggestions made it the best dinner I've had in awhile.
2023 has been one of the hardest years and Jose has made me so grateful to be here and thankful to be alive.

Everyone who recommended it said it was a five star and other than the bar staff being very attentive… I could grasp anything exceptional about what we had.

This restaurant was my favorite from our entire visit to Dallas. The popsicle drink was SO yummy! The food was amazing, AND the server was great with our party of 10! Would highly recommend!

It was great food, and once I was seated, the service was wonderful. Downfall was that I stood at the reception for a while, and no one greeted or acknowledged my presence. I highly recommend the carrajillo after dinner drink. This was the ceviche and carnitas, yummy!

Had 3pm reservations on a Saturday afternoon. Valet was quick and there was a table available upon arrival. Our server was prompt with introducing himself and supplying chips and salsa. Cocktails, appetizers, and entrees were at the table in a timely manner. Positive experience throughout.

We went for dinner on a Saturday, about 9:00PM. The place was packed, high energy, good music, pleasant ambiance. Our server, Eric, was super knowledgeable and very attentive to our needs. The cocktails were good and strong. I especially liked the Guava Mule. The food was hit and miss. Our cold apps came out as they should, we especially liked the coconut ceviche and the elote. The main plates came out less than hot. The short rib enchiladas were surprisingly bland. Overall a decent experience, I would give it another shot.

We were instantly greeted by a friendly & welcoming host which kicked things off on the right foot. We were seated in less than 3 minutes and our waiter Cesar was very knowledgeable and friendly. He gave us his recommendations on drinks and food which were a hit with the group.
La Malinche cocktail was refreshing, dash of sour, and with a little spicy kick. The mocktails were just the right kind of sweet & refreshing. The salsas they provide with the chips are delicious as we finished them with the chips almost instantly.
The carnitas de olla were tender and some pieces had a little bit of a crisp to them. The machete is more than enough for two people but the tortilla does get a little hard to eat if you don’t eat it while it’s warm almost tough to chew down. The tacos al carbon were good we wouldn’t go as to say the best ever but definitely a pleasing meal. The carne asada was also a good choice the potatoes it comes with were a little on the over salted side and a little over cooked as well. The deserts were also good with just the right amount of sweetness.
We had specifically gone to try out the tacos de tacha which on the show Taco Chronicles consist of lobster tail but unfortunately that day the taco consisted of pork ribs which was unfortunate since we were visiting from out of state.
Overall we enjoyed our dinner very much, the service was friendly and welcoming, and the esthetics were modern with a touch of Mexican roots. We would go back to try out other dishes and drinks next time we’re back in town.

It was me and my family’s first time at Jose and we had a fantastic dinner. Everything we ordered from the appetizers to dessert was hot, fresh, and flavorful. We ended up ordering several cocktails throughout the evening because they were all so good - highly recommend the Witch Doctor and Strawberry Colada. Our server, Carlos, was super friendly and really understood the menu which I greatly appreciated. We will definitely be back!

Beautiful ambience and welcoming location. Good Quality food and good selection of drinks on the menu. Bar area looks wonderful and inviting. They have an outdoor patio perfect to enjoy the cool fall breeze.
Went for the first time and had a good lunch. Chips with salsa was complementary and they had a good range of mild to spicy salsa, for varied taste buds 😉 There were many choices of soups, salads and entrees in the menu. Vegetarian food choices were fine, and portion sizes were good. Prizes are reasonable.
Offers valet parking service and friendly staff. Located in prime area in Dallas and easily accessible from surrounding areas.

Good place for a breakfast brunch. Plenty of seating when we arrived and good patio area. Service was good and food was almost spot on. Eggs were a miss but other dishes had good flavored and cooked well. Salad was boring and average but the cheese and pork dishes were great. Enjoyed the atmosphere and casual environment.

Great new spot! Noticed a few issues given they're a new restaurant but overall a "highly recommend"! Interesting menu and a departure from the typical Tex Mex... think Javier's! Only one complaint: very very loud! That said, a great patio and friendly staff. Pricier than your average Mexican restaurant but it is Park Cities...

My fiancé took me the day after my birthday to have a nice dinner. We arrived and sat quickly outside on the patio on a semi-warm evening. The waiter promptly brought our water and then took our drink order. I asked what cocktail people usually get and he started naming off patron shots. Not exactly what I wanted but who cares? I ordered one of the signature tequila drinks and wifey got the Paloma (I forget the name) drink. Both were very good and you could tell the bartender took their time making it. She ordered the chile relleno and I got the carnitas plate. Both were awesome, and I was even able to make 3 tacos out of mine so you know I left full! Overall, good time. Great drinks and fun atmosphere. It seems more upscale given its location but I'd still take my party friends there. 😏 Only advice to waiters is to know the drinks and suggest them in a meaningful way, don't just try to upsell some expensive tequila. That would make the whole experience more wholesome. Food recommendation was on point!

Food is excellent! Design is even better. Great chips and salsa, nice selection of interior Mexican appetizers. I love the Park Cities Enchiladas and their salads. The Usual cocktail is on-point...so simple but the perfect way to drink tequila.

The food is excellent. The drinks are very good but a tad expensive. The service has really degraded since the first time we went... it's incredibly slow. They need more wait staff and bartenders or the ones they have need to move faster. The meals are prepared fairly quickly so it's not the kitchen. And water glasses should never be empty.

The food was excellent and so was the service. We ordered some cocktails and they were super strong, not in a good way. I barely choked mine down only because I didn't want to waste $11! If we ever go back I will get something a little less pretentious or just water. Good ambiance despite the noise level. The outdoor patio is a great choice for days when it's not a million degrees outside.
