An absolute relatively hidden gem of an Italian restaurant that deserves more stars, guests and reviews!
The food - 5/5 - is insanely delicious, fresh and has an interpretation without going off the rails! You know there is a daring bunch behind in the kitchen that works hard & smart
The service - 5/5 - was delightful. Shirley helped us with her recommendations without being intrusive & was spot on in suggestions when asked direct questions. Thanks Shirley!
The atmosphere - 5/5 - is elegant and upscale without being pretensive! A good family outing, date night or with business associates....i would totally recommend.
Now let's look at the food we tried
Starter:
Housemade foccacia - delightfully crusty on both sides feels like it has been baked on an iron skillet. Served with Whipped ricotta.
Salad:
Burrata salad - fresh burrata with market produce which was in our case grapes, fresh figs, shaved radish, arugula dressed with a citrusy vinaigrette & topped with toasted walnuts
Pastas:
1) Spicy Gemelli - one of a kind Gemelli pasta made with a spicy vodka sauce. Delightful. A must try!
2) Cacio e pepe - a nice warm creation. Very impressive in expected taste. Not the best Cacio e pepe but you can't go wrong if you chose this
Sides:
Heirloom carrots - whipped ricotta, pistachios served warm with the carrots caramelized/burnt perfectly
Seasonal Veg - Cauliflower florets seasoned and roasted to be a good supporting cast to the Pasta
Dessert:
Italian sundae: a house creation and what i would say is an "All flavor attack" in a positive sense. It has some 3 scoops of bluebell home made vanilla ice cream in a pool of olive oil topped with Whipped cream that has a drizzle of sea salt + crunchy nuts in there. A whirlwind of a treat!!
Hidden gem of an Italian restaurant located on a quiet street but definitely worth a visit. The food is fresh and tasty, the flavors bright and bold. We had a Caesar salad, a Sicilian crudo, the Linguini al limone, the Trumpet Marsala et one tiramisu. Every dish was excellent and nicely put together. The venue itself is high end and the clientele is upscale. Fairly priced for what you get, I would definitely go back.
First time to il Bracco. Friend had the pasta with shrimp and I had the special of the day sea scallop salad. Both were delicious. Service was on point with being checked on regularly. Sat outside patio (crazy with 100 degree Dallas weather), but they had umbrella covers and didn’t feel bad at all. Highly recommend and would definitely be back.
The pasta noodles were chewy and cooked perfectly. All the ingredients for the salads were fresh and of high quality. The prices were a bit expensive, but the overall food quality was good.
Went to il Bracco to celebrate my fiancé's birthday and we had a great experience.
The ambiance is perfect! Very classy, upscale Italian restaurant. One con was that the restaurant was a bit noisy, so you will need to speak loudly with your guest.
The food was spectacular! The pastas are made in-house and tasted very fresh! I ordered the CACIO E PEPE (bucatini, black pepper and Pecorino), which was fantastic.
The star of the show was the meatballs and fresh foccocia! Definitely my favorite dish of the night.
Lots of free parking around the restaurant.
I came back after 2 years and my experience was wonderful.
My original review was a 3 star for bad service and delayed sitting.
We had a reservation of our anniversary. We were directed to the bar which we enjoyed a drink for 10min, and we sat on our table soon.
Food is amazing here anyway. Very tasty and delicious.
Service was on time, and caring.
Ample parking in the area.
il Bracco delivers every time we dine. The service is impeccable and impressive as the servers and bartenders are always attentive to you. The food is fresh and prepared to perfection; we’ve yet to receive every dish just as we ordered it. Put this on your constant rotation. Make a reservation in advance if you don’t like waiting for a bar seat because it’s always booked and the bar remains full - a very good sign of a desirable restaurant.
Chic place! Good food and ambience.
Recommend to get reservations as it gets packed. We went on a Wednesday night and I was surprised on how busy it was.
Pretty much everything we ate was delicious and the service excellent. I wish I remember the name of our waitress, she was delightful and I really wish to commend her service. She was on point with recommendations and knew everything in the menu. We asked tons of questions.
I thank Elizabeth and Willie for the politeness and great service. Our appetizer came late but Elizabeth notified in advance. They not only apologized but also removed it from the tab. Pasta was good, but we expected a more generous portion. Atmosphere was nice!
Great spot. Appetizers were great, the home made pasta was wonderful as well. All were served a little too aldente for my taste, but I was the only one who felt that way. We chose 4 pasta dishes and 3 apps and just shared family style. Prices were reasonable and the service was top notch.
