Hummus, Bacon wrapped, cream cheese stuffed prunes, and a burger with carmelized onion jam, Bacon and Gruyere cheese. Came for the beer and holy cow the food was amazing! Great service too and yes, the beer is great as well. Thanks for making this a great Birthday!

Really nice atmosphere. Beer is good, food was on point and the drinks were made well and at a reasonable price. Bartender offered to make an off menu drink for me based on what I liked and it was perfect. Will return.

Their drink menu is outstanding and the burgers are perfectly creative. Order the Moontang. It's a quality burger even without all of the unique ingredients added- well worth the price.

Hipster brewpub serving some of the delicious, most creative plates in Dallas. A must try foodie adventure.

SIGHT: Open air, communal tables with a sprinkling of outdoor tables and reclaimed, long wood bench seating.

SOUND: Saturday at 4:00 PM, a few sprinkling of locals saddled up to the bar and sipping craft beer on the sidewalk seating.

SMELL: N/A

TOUCH: Clean, newly furnished, urban reclaimed chic.

TASTE:
Veal Sweetbreads- fried bundles of joy with red oak leaf accents and pickled red onion.
Fried Wild Mushrooms- Delicious, crispy, feathery in a tempura like batter. A mix of oyster mushrooms that were served a top a sunflower paste and pickled onions.

Incredibly delicious food that you wouldn't expect from a brewery. The chef really knew how to bring out the flavor a of different foods! Highly recommend the lamb choppa as well as the pork belly! Portions are a little small and prices are a little high, but worth it!

Great local spot! Tucked away in oak cliff with an incredible, elevated dive ambiance. Strongly recommend the black pepper pilsner. The food is fantastic and very creative. Everything our group shared was a fight for the last bite! Service was warm, inviting, and very knowledgeable.

Small Brewpub is worth a visit. The food is really good and the drinks are too. Try the burger! If you don't know what to order, try the burger! The Scotch Olives were fantastic, it's like a large olive wrapped in chorizo/sausage ready to please your tummy. The drinks in this post were penultima, new hat, and secret agent. Penultima was the best in my opinion, tequila smoked tea and ginger.

Another great gem in Dallas. This is a beautiful restaurant and it has a great laid back feel to it. The entire staff was friendly and helpful. The brunch is delicious. I can't wait to visit again.

I’ve been coming here since they first opened! One of my very favorite places. We always come for drinks and to eat at night, BUT we saw they started doing BRUNCH and lemme tell you!!! WOW!!!! SO SO GOOD! I had the biscuits and gravy and my Bf has chicken and waffles. My biscuits and gravy had soo mih flavor and my side of potato frits was good. He said his waffle was very fluffy, and the syrup was bomb. He ordered a coffee which is from right next door Cultivar, and I had a gin drink that was very tasty and delicious. Honestly, I think I might like the brunch more than anything else. So so good! Awesome vibes

I arrived at Small Brewpub at 11:30 hoping to avoid the lunch crowd. The place was empty except for one guy moping up a spill in front of the fermentation tanks. The place opens at 11:00 so I moseyed up to the bar assuming they were indeed open for lunch and they were. The menu options were few but that's to be expected at a relatively small pub. I ordered the burger. Those used to monster 1/2 lb. Burgers might be disappointed but it was the right size for me. The fries were great - a little overcooked, but in a good way.  The Black Pepper Pills was just what I wanted: relatively light but with plenty of taste.

Ok I finally made it here to try the new menu. I already loved the drinks, especially the cocktails. Someone wrote an article about the new menu and the burger in particular and claimed that it was exceptional so I had to add it to my list. First off the burger is $15, I believe, which I don't mind paying for an amazing burger but that was not the case here. Of course the burger is not bad but I would not order it again even if it was $10. Also me and my wife agreed it was too dry. One issue was the bun is way too huge and dense (in relation to the burger) as you can see in my photos. Aside from that the flavor was decent but not impressive. The kale salad on the other hand was awesome, it way out-shined the burger! Best kale I've ever eaten. The pretzel sandwich is tasty, much better than the burger although I would not come out of my way for it. (I live an hour south of DFW) We came on a Friday and it was busier than it used to be so service was a little slow but nothing to complain about. My biggest issue of the night are the horrific benches that you have to sit on, by the end of the night I was in pain and my lower back was sore from lack of support and my butt felt like it had taken a pounding. lol. I guess they don't want you to stay long, I recommend bringing a portable stadium seating pad. :-) Overall I had a good time but was let down from high expectations in regards to the burger.

I came here for drinks. Try the lemongrass saison or sultana. The aviation was delicious! The jerk wings were my favorite, beef belly buns were good but tiny, deviled eggs were nothing special. Happy hour from 4:00 to 6. Great atmosphere and presentation! Will definitely come back to try dinner, this is not your typical bar food place.

Went there today for brunch, their first Sunday Brunch. Took a bit longer than it should have taken to get our food, but the food was good, the beers are great, the michelada was delicious, and the carafes of mimosas plentiful. Food options aren't many but should provide for all types of eaters. My favorite part of coming here are the beers they brew, which provide an option for all types of beer drinkers.

We really enjoyed not only the drinks, but also the food. Hard to find a place that gets them both right, but Small Brewpub does it all right!

Always a new surprise on the menu. Order the specials and you’ll be happy. Order the brisket sliders and you’ll be delighted.
