Don Pepe's Rancho Mexican Grill - Dallas - Photo album

So husband and I decided to grab a bite for dinner. We had our 11 y.o & 2 &half y.o. our waitress was great. Brought to our table without even asking extra napkin, crayons. She was patient with us. Food came out hot & sizzling.
I saw the Flaming Molcajete on other reviews and had to try it. I gotta say I was very impressed! Chicken, steak, chorizo, cheese, nopales, shrimp and a delicious red sauce flavored by the chorizo. Super well served. It was literally flaming on our table. 15/10 Service was great! Loved it! And we a
Nice spot. We walked in at 6:30 on a Saturday night, they were busy but there was no wait. Hostess and server were friendly. Queso was lacking flavor but the guacamole was real good. Tacos were good and the pineapple pico was delicious. Nice patio too. The area the restaurant is located has great ou
I've been here several times and am always super happy with the service and the food is really good. I tried the flan recently and loved it. Also love the fresh guacamole!
Really delicious food. The host was super friendly and the beef in my enchiladas were super good. Get the She So Fancy drink. The drink is tasty and strong! I can’t wait to go back
Don Pepe’s Rancho Mexican Restaurant was a good spot to end the night. It was quite busy and a little pricey but I’d be back. I got the shrimp wrapped in bacon with a peach margarita and I thoroughly enjoyed the meal.
Nice local Tex-mex with a “hole-in-the-wall” feel. The patio overlooks a green space and kids playground, which makes it all worthwhile. It’s a great place to grab lunch or dinner and a margarita while you watch the kids play. Service can be a bit slow, and there are certainly better Mexican food
First time here for lunch since they relocated just down the road from the last location. The new restaurant is very updated and has a nice area outside as well. I'm so glad that they still have lunch specials and the prices were reasonable. Salsa is still good, chips fresh, food was tasty and filli
The prices are reasonable with large portions. The bowl of tortilla soup is really big. It's larger than a normal soup bowl. Tortilla chips are always fresh as well. I've also had nachos and enchiladas. My family has been eating at Don Pepe's for years. Always great service, friendly and welcomi
We had a great early dinner at Don Pepe's! We ordered the most amazing dish the Flaming Molcajete, and it DID NOT disappoint! It's advertised as serving 2+. I think n it would comfortably serve 3-4 adults and easily a family with a couple of kids... all flavorful and not spicy, unless you want it,
The new location is nice. The restaurant itself lost its small hole in the wall Mexican eatery vibe, it's now more updated and polished. Still looks nice. I was very pleased with our meal. The salsa was fresh and tasted more handmade and less out of a can than I remember it being (and honestly was d
Ice has finally thawed in Dallas and everybody is out on Saturday night. Tried Don Pepe's for the first time in quite a few years. They closed their Coit and Arapaho location a couple of years ago and reopened in the new development at Meadowcreek and Arapaho. First impression...restaurant was packe
Decided to go here for dinner one night. Very nice atmosphere inside. The waitress was able to make recommendations because I could not handle spicy food. The torilla soup was amazing! The broth was so flavorful. The bistec tacos were great too. The shrimp fajita was cooked to perfection. This is a
The service is top notch! The food is incredible with choices that are Tex-max and also authentic Mexican goodness! Their Playa Mesa will change your world. And their drink selection is perfection. The patio ambiance is everything and more. This made a a little gem that is family run and owed. Highl
We tried the nachos, chalupas, and enchiladas - all were delish! Service was good, only wish the patio had more tables & seating since the outdoor play area for the kids is right there, but definitely recommend the food!
We don't live all that close to Don Pepe's so this was only our second visit in the 10 years we've lived in Dallas (from SoCal originally). The food was just as fantastic this second time! We had the Salmon Cancun and the Chile Relleno (cheese) and they were both outstanding. Highly recommend!
My first time coming to eat here was because someone recommended to me this restaurant. I liked it a lot and I returned after 2 weeks. Some of the portions of the meals are very small, to say , rice or vegetables for the price of the dish is a bit expensive. The two occasions that I ate here, unfor
I am so glad this placed opened up right by my apartments! Absolutely delicious food, awesome customer service, ice cold beer, fresh and delicious food and it’s quick service and very clean!!!! I go here often and try to bring all my friends when I go. The chicken fajitas are my favorite by far! The
Great experience - the authentic atmosphere and friendly staff made it a pleasure and the food is great! Had the mixed fajita plate; probably the best chicken fajita I’ve had. It was moist and delicious, and the beef fajita was great as well. Amazing tortillas and tortilla chips with all the sides.
