So I had driven by many times and very much underestimated it based on its nondescript strip mall vibe and lack of website (they only have a FB link on google maps) - but I was wrong - the wines were all great and the food was really good. Much better than expected / I would go back again. Only reason 4 stars instead of 5 was service - there was an owner/manager who started our tab - he was great and attentive - and then the waitresses arrived / then it was hit or miss service. Once it got busy they are active walking around but during the slowish 4:30/5 hr they are on phones and never checking on tables. So good wine, great food, mediocre service

Love small locally-owned places. The owner Tony, is so kind and welcoming. They have live music and discuss multiple times a week and the food is SO good. One of my favorites in Lochwood/Old Lake Highlands!! Sorry, ate most of the food 😝

Have been here several times over the last month and sampled entrees, appetizers, sandwich and salad, dessert and, of course, the wine selection. The steak here is always flavorful, and the strip special was perfectly cooked, but the ribeye was a slightly over cooked. Friends and I have had the salmon a few times, and it is good and tender but definitely not cooked rare. Some would call it dry, but it’s always been quite edible. Veggies are fresh and tasty. The flat breads are ok but sometimes bland and undercooked. Salad has always been a great choice, and the half a panini & salad or soup is plenty. The pecan pie with chocolate ganache is a real treat. Wine selections are quite varied and reasonable. The wine list is well rounded for any taste or price point, and the beer on tap is mostly local. The patio is awesome on a temperate day. The fountain surrounded by wine corks and the fireplace create a fabulous ambience and invite lingering in conversation over a glass of red 🍷 or bubbles 🥂.

This place is dope. Excellent food and excellent service. Definitely recommend anyone looking for a chill atmosphere with friendly staff. Patio area is very spacious and perfect for the current pandemic we’re going through. Plenty of room to stay distant and have a good time.

Solid food here, ate here a ton of times when I hit up the record shops down the street. All the flatbreads are good. Best thing I've ever had though, was Peruvian ceviche that wasn't on the menu yet that the server got us to try. Absolutely excellent, much better than the Peruvian place I've been to. Also the tapas are pretty good, but last time I got them it wasn't nearly as good and was cold as well. Particularly the mushroom one wasn't good last time. Hope they keep having that guy that plays Kenny G saxophone and sings some Saturdays come back, that was pretty awesome lol

When I walked in a gentleman was behind the bar. He greeted me immediately. I told him I had placed my order to go. He let me know it would be shortly. He offered me water or if I'd prefer anything else.
It's a Very Nice quaint, romantic atmosphere. The patio is lovely .......
A jazz entertainer was there to perform for the evening.
I ordered shrimp scampi! It was DELICIOUS 😋

I looooooooooove this place so much. Just a perfect neighborhood wine bar with a wonderful selection of food and wine and a delicious menu. I had the filet and a date had salmon. Reasonable prices and plenty of parking. They have a cozy outside patio with a fireplace. Their decor is beautiful with couches and lots of pillows and benches. They have a great "ladies night" and happy hour. I can't recommend it highly enough!

We had my daughters Bridesmaid Luncheon at Urban Vines and it was perfect! We had it in their Cellar Room and Amber was very easy to work with and the staff had all the food and beverages ready to go when we requested. The salads, charcuterie and flatbreads were very good and everyone had a great time. Can’t wait to go back and enjoy some wine again soon.

This intimate and cozy wine bistro is a perfect addition to the Arboretum-south side of White Rock Lake . They usually have a nice friendly crowd enjoying a great selection of wines [half-priced on Thursdays], along with an attractive patio area with a fireplace to dine on some great cheeseboards, soups, salads, and entrée specials , with occasional relaxing live music.

Nice place for a quick glass of wine or beer. Food is surprisingly tasty. Waitstaff a bit stretched but the patio helps in relaxing while you wait. Love the fireplace outside.

Lovely atmosphere, somewhat small and intimate though we enjoyed that aspect of it. Impeccable wine selection. My one critique would be that the Lobster Mac and cheese, though lovely, could do without the red pepper flakes. I love spice but it took away from the comforting flavor of the overall dish. I will definitely return!
