Review Lovers Seafood & Market - Dallas

This place is amazing. The food is great, the service is wonderful, and the atmosphere is peaceful. We came with our 3 kids and the staff were very helpful and interacted with our kiddos to make the service even better. We will definitely return! Also, the lobster rolls, calamari, and broccoli/cauliflower are completely amazing.

This was our 1st visit here and the food was fresh and delicious. I am from New Orleans and very picky about my seafood. The freshness of the food was outstanding. I cannot wait to return for another meal.

I have been coming here since it opened and finally thought to do a review. The owners expanded from years of running the highly acclaimed Shin Sei a few doors down. They also operate Dea’s - very high quality. Favorites for lunch include the cheeseburger, Tuna Sando (with fries - delicious!), red beans and rice, green goddess salad (who makes this anymore? It’s awesome), or a bowl with hamburger or grilled salmon. Many more options but these are my go-tos. Tonight, warm fall weather, we are on the patio that can be completely enclosed. Saturdays they have live music. Lovely. We had Stone crab claws since in season (only two months). Not cheap but so so good. And hard to get. But he had it. Hush puppies done perfect with whipped butter and chipotle aioli. Seared Chilean bass was tender and moist. Overall, if you want seafood at a place that is semi casual (nice but not white table cloth) go here. Owners that run a high quality busy sushi place a few doors down know how to buy and prepare fish.

Well, definitely a must if you’re looking for great seafood in Dallas. The shellfish yellow curry dish was delicious, the smoked crab dip was so tasty. And the desert, key lime pie was the perfect way to end the night. All dishes look amazing, service is great as well.

Good food, sea bass was great. The cuscus was good, a bit salty, and a bit too buttery. Service and ambiance were good. It's a bit pricey for an everyday meal. There are some options in the 20$ range.

Great place for fresh seafood. It was very fresh and delicious and we had a fun time dining here with my dad. We came in the weekend around 6 pm and it wasn’t too busy at all.

One of the best casual restaurants in Dallas! Always incredibly fresh and the same great quality every time. Sitting outside on their patio is a must. My faves: - Raw Oyster Selection - Bacon Wrapped Shrimp Stuffed Jalapeños - Coconut Shrimp - Caesar Salad with Salmon - Any catch of the day!

Updated Title: A Mixed Experience at Lover's Seafood and Market We recently dined at Lover's Seafood and Market and had a mixed experience overall. Let’s start with the positive aspect of the meal—the appetizer. The Bacon Wrapped Shrimp Stuffed Jalapenos were a delightful treat. The combination of smoky bacon, succulent shrimp, and the heat from the jalapenos created a mouthwatering explosion of flavors. It was definitely the highlight of the evening. However, the same cannot be said for the entrees. The Blackened Texas Redfish with Jambalaya Rice and Cajun Cream Gravy fell short in terms of seasoning. The flavors were underwhelming and lacked the boldness and spice one would expect from Cajun cuisine. Secondly, we edited the Pan Seared Halibut to Blackened Halibut in hopes of a spicy alternative. The Halibut was cooked to perfection with a light flaky consistency. However, the level of heat and complexity fell short. The highlight of this meal was the Quinoa Risotto with Spicy Calabrese Sauce. Although the Calabrese sauce was mild the quinoa had a rich creamy texture that was absolutely delightful. A glass of cold Chardonnay added life to this meal. There were some highs and lows to the main course, overall the expectations set by the appetizer were not fulfilled. On a positive note, the service at Lover's Seafood and Market was terrific. The staff was attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable, making the dining experience pleasurable. The exceptional service definitely added value to the overall experience. The atmosphere at Lover’s Seafood and Market was great, the ambiance was charming and inviting. The meal presentation was exclusive to master chefs. Well done! Whether you're looking for a casual meal or a special occasion, the restaurant's ambiance contributes to a pleasant dining experience. Worth a visit!
