Great atmosphere. Very pleasant and knowledgeable staff. My oat milk cortado was perfectly made and the blueberry scone was to die for. All around great spot

My family and I stayed at a air b&b down the street from this place. The first two days we tried 4 different coffee places. They were all terrible! We found Houndstooth on the third day. My wife always knows what she wants, but I'm not a coffee fan, so it takes me a little time to figure it out. The guy behind the counter was very courteous and helpful. He ended up making me a fantastic latte! So for the next 6 mornings, we came here for our morning jolt!

Really enjoyed spending a late morning reading block in this cafe. The brick and wood aesthetic combined to create a cozy environment. My single origin was a real delight, especially as a compliment to my cinnamon roll. Check this place out! ☕️🧱🪵

The folks who work here are awesome and the coffee is stellar. I’ve thoroughly enjoyed their pour overs and iced lattes. They also occasionally serve breakfast tacos and some excellent pastries. They roast coffee locally in Dallas so you are shopping local and if you buy a bag of beans, once you run out you can bring the bag back to get 10% off another bag and they recycle the bag you turn in. I’m so happy they are only a couple of blocks from where I work.

Sweet coffee shop that gives you a taste of Austin! Although indoor seating is closed due to covid, there’s a cool outdoor setup with picnic tables. Try an iced vanilla latte with oat milk. For Tesla drivers, there’s a lot of superchargers right next to the cafe.

Rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Houndstooth Coffee, located near my house, is a hidden gem that has quickly become one of my favorite spots to relax, work, and soak in the local atmosphere. The coffee shop offers a delightful experience with its excellent atmosphere, friendly staff, and neighborhood-friendly vibe. Although the espresso shot I had during my visit was a bit sour, I am confident that with time, this cozy little place will only get better. From the moment I walked through the doors of Houndstooth Coffee, I was greeted by a warm and inviting ambiance. The interior is tastefully decorated, creating a comfortable and cozy environment. The ample seating options and well-lit space make it an ideal spot for both focused work and leisurely coffee breaks. The atmosphere alone makes it worth a visit. One of the standout features of Houndstooth Coffee is its exceptional staff. The baristas are not only skilled in their craft but also genuinely friendly and attentive. They take the time to ensure that every customer feels welcome and well taken care of. Their passion for coffee shines through in each cup they prepare, and they are always ready to offer recommendations or engage in friendly conversation. The staff's dedication to providing a positive experience adds a personal touch that enhances the overall visit. However, during my recent visit, I noticed that the espresso shot I ordered had a slightly sour taste. It seemed that the timing might not have been perfect. While this was a minor disappointment, I believe it is an issue that can be easily addressed with consistency and practice. I have faith that as Houndstooth Coffee hones their craft, they will deliver consistently excellent espresso shots. One of the things that make Houndstooth Coffee special is its neighborhood-friendly vibe. It is evident that this coffee shop is deeply rooted in the community, as it attracts a diverse crowd of locals and regulars. The friendly conversations, familiar faces, and sense of belonging make it a welcoming space. It's a place where you can feel comfortable working or simply enjoy a cup of coffee while observing the rhythm of the neighborhood. Houndstooth Coffee is a promising coffee shop that offers an excellent atmosphere, friendly staff, and a neighborhood-friendly vibe. While the espresso shot I had wasn't timed perfectly and had a slight sourness, I believe this is a minor issue that will improve with time. It's a wonderful place to sit, work, and enjoy a little people-watching. If you're seeking a cozy and inviting coffee shop near your neighborhood, Houndstooth Coffee is definitely worth a visit.

☕ reliable quality 🌮 Breakfast tacos (get there early) 🌅 🪑❌ No indoor seating (b/c Covid) 🌵 but have some outdoor seating for short stays ☺️ 🧊 Their cold brew tastes like regular iced coffee 😿. Also, too many small ice cubes so it gets watery very fast. 👎 🅿️ Easy to find street parking Despite the disappointing cold brew I still like this place for a quick visit

First time visiting here and it was pretty good. To the left is a Japanese iced coffee with cream, subtle notes of hazelnut and refreshing. The right is a classic iced vanilla latte, the vanilla is just enough without overpowering the delicious taste of the espresso.

Great coffee. Awesome customer service and a short but great menu. I ordered a classic iced latte with almond milk and it didn’t disappoint. 3 drinks were $19 so a little on the pricey side but I would definitely recommend. I would say I loved the barista asking ya about our day and asking what we were up to. Small things like that are so important to me. Cheers!

I’ve been to houndstooth a few times since moving to dallas and it has become my go to spot to pick up beans to brew cold brew at home. i’ve also tried several of their drinks and been quite impressed. great service!

Houndstooth is easily the best coffee, more specifically espresso, I’ve had in Dallas. There are other places that have a cooler atmosphere for hanging out but no other place comes remotely close to Houndstooth coffee quality.
