Review Saint Rocco's New York Italian - Dallas

My boyfriend and I went to Saint Rocco’s for our anniversary dinner and had the BEST experience! Our Server Manny was such a joy! He was so attentive and gave amazing recommendations. We got everything based on his recommendations and absolutely everything was perfect. We got the fried mozzarella for our appetizer & it was so tasty. For entrees we got the lasagna and sausage pasta, both were just amazing. For desert we got the Amaretto Bread Pudding, Chocolate Expresso Cake w/ vanilla ice cream, & the cannoli’s. We don’t have a single complaint about our experience. It was perfection! If you ever visit Saint Rocco’s, which you absolutely should, request Manny!!

I went here to celebrate my birthday. I was not disappointed at all. Nothing at this establishment was bad, I mean nothing. Our waiter was awesome ! Knowledgeable about the food selection offered great items to try, and the ambiance was ohh so sexy in this place ! Italian food is food for the soul ! I fell in love all over again, celebrating my birthday at this restaurant. Be sure to give this place a try, you will not be disappointed. Then go up to the rooftop and overlook the beautiful downtown Dallas skyline ! Remember I told you so 😊

Great food and the food presentation is top notch. The cheese wheel pasta was cool. They have a second and third floor as well. The cotton candy drink tasted good too.

We went for our friend’s bachelorette dinner and had amazing service. The atmosphere is romantic and intimate. The food was delicious and worth the price. We had truffle fries and calamari for appetizers and it was a great portion! I had the bolognese and it also made great leftovers. The view on the rooftop was beautiful!

OMG!!! We had such an amazing time there. Rocco's had been on my list of places to try, so why not on my birthday. The decor and the music eg: Sinatra, Dean Martin, Mel Tomme, made me feel like I was there for a mob sit-down. Our server Manny did an awesome job waiting on us and with menu recommendations. I ordered Linguine and Clams, hubby had Spaghetti and Meatballs, and Sal Jr. ordered Rocco's Bolognese. We tried several cocktails and a couple of desserts as well. Manny gifted me the bread pudding for my birthday and we ordered the chocolate espresso cake. They were moist and sooo sweet. Everything was delicious and totally worth it. 😋 They have 3 floors in this facility. After dinner we headed up to the second floor (The Devil's Back Porch)for a few more drinks and games of pool. Unfortunately, the 3rd floor Rooftop was closed this evening, so we couldn't enjoy the view of the Dallas skyline. ***You can also reserve a table on Open Table to avoid waiting. Manny stated they have several specials right now: ****CALL BEFOREHAND TO CONFIRM**** Tuesday : Buy a bottle of wine and get one free to take home. Wednesday : 50% off a bottle of wine. Game day Special on the Rooftop: $20 dollar buckets & $5.00 shots on Sunday game days ****CALL BEFOREHAND TO CONFIRM**** We will definitely be back!!! 👍👍💜

The location of the place is very nice. The view of downtown Dallas is cool. The service is good but the time it till them to bring food is not acceptable. It took more than an hour for us to get the entree from the time we ordered. We understand it was a weekend and the place was busy but 60+ min wait after you order does not sit right. They treat you with bread and we loved it. The food was very ok for the price. Beware $$$. The waiter was very courteous. 20% service charge for a party of 6+. We missed having dessert from the rooftop as it took ages for us to get our entrees. Not really sure if I would go back!

My boyfriend and I came here about a week ago and came into it so blind. Found them on tiktok and thought we should try it out. This restaurant was amazing, our waiters name was Collin i believe and he was awesome. Very down to earth and sweet. We weren’t huge wine drinkers and he gave us some tips and tricks to wine drinking. He was amazing. Not to mention the amazing mussels we had as an appetizer! I truly recommend trying out the mussels. We aren’t ones to try something new but these were amazing. My entree was lasagna and that was great! Also the salmon was a great entree as well.

So my husband and I started out on an adventure to find a new place to eat why we were in Dallas. This place was spectacular. The food was great. The atmosphere was great our server Torri was phenomenal. We will definitely be making the drive back to this place more often with friends and family.

what a treat this restaurant is. the atmosphere is incredible! such a small space, yet it is booming constantly. it’s such a lovely space. i tried this restaurant for a special occasion, and i was blown away. i had the fried mozzarella and margherita pan pizza, and they were both extremely delicious and flavorful. all of the other people i dined with also loved their food! we were not disappointed. highly recommend this place for a date night or special occasion!

My girlfriend and I dined at Saint Rocco’s yesterday evening upon recommendation from another group of friends who dined the evening before. Upon arrival, we were greeted by a friendly concierge and warm ambiance. We were sat immediately at a small table closer to the back (middle of restaurant). It was perfect. It was intimate and we appreciated being able to speak to one another w/o having to yell over a crowded dining room and music. Speaking of music, the songs were nostalgic and took me back to time specific moments in my life. As a native New Yorker, I felt at home! Our server; Colin Young was amazing! He was attentive, knowledgeable of the dishes and provided amazing recommendations! He serviced our table frequently w/o being over bearing. He is a sweet young man & an asset to the Saint Rocco team! You can feel his passion for the great food & his customers!! Keep up the great work Colin! We will be back bc of him!! Thank You!

We decided to try this place for dinner today, overall, the food was good, service was good as well. We went upstairs for dessert, the atmosphere on the second floor it’s simply different but overall we had a great time. I was a bit disappointed with management, we miss placed our keys at the bar area and we went back after everybody had left and asked the manager if somebody had turned in any keys by any chance. Just by his reaction was obvious that he had no willingness to help whatsoever, he didn’t even bother to ask anyone or looked instead, he’s immediate answer was no. he was very unfriendly and rude from the get-go. The next day I called in the front desk and they had my keys.

It was such a fun night with great food. The restaurant is beautifully decorated. The food was good and the drinks were delicious. The strawberry Margarita and the pizza were my favorite. I enjoyed the ambiance and the view on the roof top. I’ll have to come back again and try more food options.

We came for an early dinner on a Sunday, and had a lovely experience. Our server Torrie really made the experience special. She was so friendly, attentive and knowledgeable. She helped make sure we had a great wine pairing and really guided us through the menu. Regarding the food - our favorite dish was the calamari. They add fried zucchini to the mix and it is so good! Definitely made it different from other restaurants and better. Our second favorite was the bolognese - it was perfect. Very hearty, flavorful and comforting. We would order both of these dishes again. I was a little disappointed by the Parmesan crusted salmon, as it was a little over cooked. But the flavor was still good and the salad was refreshing. Overall it was a really nice experience and we would happily dine here again.

From the moment you arrive, you’ll realize how great of a time you will have here. Located just on the outskirts of downtown, you will have a great view of the Dallas skyline, if you sit on the rooftop. When you enter, the restaurant downstairs is really clean and has a fancy feel to it. We were greeted by some of the staff and they were very friendly. We made our way up to the top in the elevator and it was very easy to figure out where to get drinks and where to sit. There was a dress code and it makes sense. This place is on the fancier side of things. I’m okay with that. Just be aware of this before picking this place to eat. The food was great. I had their pizza and it was a really good tasting pizza. Great little thin crust with plenty of cheese. I also had their Lobster and Smoked Mozzarella Arancini with Curried Tomato Dipping Sauce and that was surprisingly delicious. I’m normally not a lobster kind of person and that was amazing. Didn’t really get to try a lot of other stuff but I heard it was all good. I think the staff did an amazing job that night. They were all so friendly and attentive regardless of how busy it was that night. I enjoyed their service very much and I feel like they know what they’re doing. Overall, this was a wonderful experience and would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a great date night venue. You will NOT regret it.
