I'm not hard to please, I love food and this here worked great. Started with tea, beef liver and endless freshly baked bread, as you can see from the pictures I didn't stop there and I had plenty to take home. Bread is FREE,ENDLESS & YUMMY!!
We were looking for a place where we could find bakhlava. And this place turned out to be a great one. The food was delicious. The price was comperatively on a little higher side but considering the surrounding and the environment I wouldn't mind paying those extra bucks. Yes, I loved my bakhlava. But before that, I tried hummus, babaghanuj and falafel, and I liked them all too. I was a little disappointed with the kenafe though. But the bakhlava compensated my disappointment.
Good food! It took a while to arrive even though we were the only ones there but most of it was worth the wait since they give you complimentary bread while you wait. The apple tea is REALLY nice! The harrem salad was too lemony though.
Enjoyed our meals here - not overwhelming by any metric except quality. Service was measured but nothing was skipped even though there were three large groups enjoying their respective events.
The bread was not baked uniformly. The appetizer, cheese roll, was good. The Iskender Kebab had the right amount of yoghurt for my taste and bread here was consistent. The Moussaka was layered finely such that the blend of the ingredients truly occurred on the palate. The Mixed Grill had generous portions of meat but understandably only one chop.
I would have preferred stronger Turkish coffee without the pre-mixed sugar cube. The Kunafi generally has stronger characteristic added color topping in Lebanese restaurants.
Looking forward to my next visit sooner rather than later.
Great atmosphere and customer service. I got the hummus and the mixed platter that contained Gyro, beef shish, lamb and chicken. The lamb was my favorite of the four. The hummus and fresh hot bread made the meal really enjoyable and complimented my proteins well.
Good humored service but need to be more attentive especially during non peak hours. Decor is surprisingly nice despite strip mall location. Come with a large group of friends and dine and chat for hours and hours. Get the Turkish coffee and Kunefe after the main course.
Got the chicken adana kebab and baklava. The Chicken was well seasoned but stiff it was served with Turkish rice (with vermicelli) overall it is a great dish, not very spicy and a welcome change from other chicken kababs. The baklava as brilliant, soft filo pastry with succulent stuffing of pistachio paste. One order of baklava comes with 4 pieces so it's a good dessert to share.
The food was outstanding & the service even more so. Ended the meal w/ some real Turkish coffee. I don't see it getting much better!
Their lunch menu is fantastic! You get a choice of one appetizer and your entree for just under $13. They have a really good selection to choose from. Here's a photo of the Adana, which is essentially a lamb meatloaf with rice and salad. The appetizer was too good and didn't make it in the image. :)
Really like the atmosphere and the food options - liver appetizer and Shepherd salad with cabbage rolls and veggies plate - great fresh food options.
