Ate here with my family for my moms birthday and had a really good time. The food was definitely delicious and the drinks were mixed and made well. The wait staff was very friendly and accommodating of our needs and the atmosphere was really good. I would definitely eat here again if the opportunity arises.
Had ladies night here with a small party. Our server was a gem, the establishment is beautiful the food wasn’t as tasty or delicious as I expected it to be. Overall it was a great time out and I enjoyed myself.
I visited last year after beating the big "C". It was a "victory" brunch for myself as well as a friend who had recently took on a new role in his career. Our server and his assistant were amazing, super friendly, helpful and relatable. Great atmosphere, clean establishment, and nice decor.
We ordered the Buttermilk Pancakes, Lump Crab Cakes, Smoked Salmon Breakfast Nest, Calves Liver, Mama Laverne's Chicken & Waffles, and ended with the Seasonal Fruit.
Did we finish everything in one setting? Only the breakfast nest and fruit, lol, it was definitely a lot of food.
I greatly enjoyed the following: The Lump Crab Cakes were fresh, packed with flavor, and addicting. Mama Laverne's Chicken & Waffles exceeded my expectations - I was first introduced to the plate via a church announcement - and the recipe and taste were phenomenal. The Calves Liver may require an acquired taste, and I can honestly say that I appreciated it much more the following day 😅 - plus it's packed with nutrients and protein. The Seasonal Fruit was beautifully presented and a great way to end our meal on a super healthy note with a sweet delight.

My husband had the sea bass. The calamari was the best we’ve ever had and we have had a LOT of calamari over the years. 😁 the food is incredible. The atmosphere is perfect. The service was great.
My wife and I enjoyed our dinner. Service was fine and food was very good. I was slightly disappointed with the oysters on the half shell. Whoever shucked them lost all of the oyster juice which resulted in a dry unappetizing presentation. It’s a crime to lose the juicy brine that makes east coast oysters special. The mussels and clams in white wine sauce were divine. And I LOVED the Hokkaido A5 Wagyu. Literally melted in my mouth and was easily worth the high price. My wife enjoyed her filet, but was jealous of my Wagyu. The broccolini and risotto were meh. The Coconut pie was a small piece and wasn’t anything I’d claim if I were a pastry chef. The steaks here easily blow Chamberlains out of the water.
Wow. Amazing. Having been to the downtown location, I had high expectations for this place and they matched and exceeded it. They have complementary valet. The staff were very friendly and nice. Got the escargot and tortellini appetizer (warm and creamy), American wagyu NY strip (oh so yummy) $90, special spinalis steak (more chewy but lots of yummy beef flavor) $99, mushrooms, Mac and cheese, creme brulee and banana pudding. Everything was delicious. I've eaten at many steakhouses and these steaks rank among the better. Dessert was comped for our birthdays. Plan on coming here to celebrate special occasions. My strongest recommendations for Al Biernat's North!
I recently dined at Al Biernat's north steak restaurant in Addison and I must say, it was a delightful experience. I ordered the medium cooked filet with loaded potato and Mac and cheese, and it was cooked to perfection. The warm goat cheese salad and prawns were a great start to the meal. Unfortunately, I was too full to have dessert, but I'm sure it would have been just as delicious. Overall, I highly recommend this restaurant for anyone looking for a great steakhouse experience.
I'm not an Michelin restaurant reviewer, however if I were, I would give Al Biernat's North the highest rating. I honestly feel no words could properly express my experience. The service was exceptional. Our server was Steph G and she was fabulous. Her personality and professional heightened the experience. I'm actually smiling right now as I reminisce. The food was amazing. I normally order salmon, however I ordered the Tomahawk Steak. It was soooo good. Tender, juicy, and cooked to perfection. The added bonus was the manager James G. He came to our table and with his charisma, made us feel as if we were frequent client of the restaurant for ages. To end the experience, I ordered the Chocolate Bread Pudding. It was a dessert sent by the Gods:) It was simply heavenly. Al Biernat's North I tip my hat to you:)
Rated #1 steakhouse on a couple of best steakhouse lists in Dallas. This steakhouse has two floors and three bars. Food was amazing. We had the Wellington bites for an appetizer along with the Caesar salad. This was my first time trying a Japanese A5 Wagyu filet and it did not disappoint! It literally melts in your mouth with every bite. My wife had the surf and turf with garlic mashed potatoes and macaroni & cheese. The potatoes au gratin had a wonderful bacon and chives cheese béchamel sauce that was stunning on the pallet! Hands down best steakhouse I’ve been to in the world thus far! A5 is a must, once in your life. Live a little 😉. To cap the night off we a had a beautiful bourbon chocolate breaded cake with sea salt caramel gelato.
I took my best friend here for his birthday and we were very impressed with the food and decor! We both had never tried beef Wellington before but after trying the beef Wellington bites, I can’t stop thinking about them! We also tried the whole lobster Thermador and I was blown away with the taste and how large the portion was! Also if you’re planning on ordering it, get ready to “shell” out $170, pun intended!
