Good was good. Got the curry. Very flavorful and on the thinner side.
They put a lot of protein in the curry, which is great.
Satay chicken was also done well. Better than usual dish at other restaurants.

The food was amazingly delicious and fresh! The service was attentive and not over bearing, which is a great vibe.

My first time at this place and the experience was very good. The staff was helpful and provided good recommendations. We had the fried rice, calamari and the yellow curry with beef. Portion sizes are generous so I would limit the starters. The restaurant is ample and has a nice ambience. Parking is a bit challenging at night but if you go around you'll find a spot.

The staff is quite friendly but they do seem a little short staffed so things do take a little bit to come out. Be patient the wait is worth it! The lychee saketini is dangerously delicious. The taste to alcohol ratio is great. It’s a little sweet which I personally like. The corn patties were delicious. They were bigger than I expected about palm sized. The taste is good nice and crunchy. The sauce they pair it with however is overwhelming and covers the corn taste so go easy on the dipping. I think it’s sweet and sour sauce. Surprisingly the cucumbers the sauce come with pair perfectly with the corn. The gyoza is fried to perfection! The taste and crunch are perfect 🤩 I don’t think I would change anything about that. The Pad Thai is delicious. I was able to get a vegetarian option. It’s not listed on the menus but you can ask for tofu or vegetable. I did add some of the table hot sauce. I added 5 spoon fulls to my plate and it turned out quite spicy. I loved it! The portions are very large. I was able to eat about a quarter of the serving before I had to tap out. But at least I have leftovers.

Not sure why we don't eat here more often. Great food, wonderful environment and moderate prices should have us there all the time. I specially love the special menu that changes from time to time. We cheated and had shrimp this trip, but the tofu and vegetables are always awesome. We did love the chicken before we became plant based.
There is a light dress code, so don't show up in a white tshirt, cut offs and flip flops with your hat on backwards. I go in shorts, sandals and colorful tshirt all the time and have never had an issue. Treat yourself without breaking the bank. We'll be back.
EDIT: I need to update my reviews more often. This was from 2019. We've eaten here a few times since then, and it is always a wonderful experience. Highly recommended!!!

Great food and good atmosphere. Menu is varied - something for everyone. No shortage of curry. Try the appetizers- nice take on the calamari.

Tried this place for the first time, 4.5 stars but I’ll round up to 5
Overall - Restaurant was clean, had hand sanitizer available at the front, wasn’t too crowded, and had great portion sizes.
I ordered the Thai iced tea, golden sacks (fried curry balls wrapped in wonton paper), chicken pad Thai, and crab fried rice.
Thai tea and chicken pad Thai were pretty standard/average. Golden sacks were interesting; the inside potato/vegetable filling reminds me of samosas. Crab fried rice was my favorite, but it comes out a bit bland and definitely needs a little kick! I would recommend mixing some sambal or spicy tamarind sauce into it!
Future focus areas: waiters should check in more with diners; restaurant should offer a variety of sauces on the side or make diners aware that additional sauces are available. Next time I’m here I would love to try one of the curries!

First off let me tell you I'm a HUGE fan of Thai food but here in the dfw area I have found a very few places with the authentic Thai flavor. This places has to be one of the closest I've had in Dallas. If you like Spicy, ask for level 5 spicy otherwise you have the first four levels to choose from. I had the fried beef as an appetizer and the shrimp tom Yahm soup. This soup comes the closest to an amazing place in L.A. called Ocha Restuarant. My main dish was the Bangkok Spice. It was good with level 4 spice but I regret not going up to 5. I've included dishes from those who dined with me. Enjoy and thumb up this pic if you try any of the dishes I'll include with this review.

Royal Thai is AMAZING! I always start with soup before moving on to the main course. Thai is very good here if looking for something sweet to drink. The staff is very nice and the atmosphere can make you forget where you are as you become immersed in the ambiance. Love coming to Royal Thai fur celebrations, date nights, and other special occasions. Highly recommend!
