My daughter and I were looking for a great Brunch after completing our latest 5K and having been to Buzz Brews on a couple of occasions we wanted something new, hello Allgood Cafe! Great service, great food, we've found our new "go to" restaurant.
Very good. Worth checking out. Definitely get the peppered bacon. Check it out if you're in Dallas. Would get 5 stars if they had a discount for active duty military.
We had a nice weekday breakfast. The Texas themed interior and slow diner atmosphere itself was worth the stop. I ordered a pecan pancake - and it was great with coffee and a side of chili ^^ The sourdough toast and peach jelly was also delicious! But... the price makes it only a one time sort of place for me :) Real meat (pork) lovers could probably add this to their keepers list though.
Simple comfort food and friendly atmosphere. Good place of you are running low on time, but want a sit-down restaurant. I ordered the tuna salad sandwich--ingredients were very fresh. The chips and salsa were also very good. Definitely will keep this one on the list of nearby lunch places.
It's a diner, folks...and a pretty darn food one at that.
It was all good. Had the chicken fried chicken with mashed potatoes and broccoli. The chicken was a little above average, broccoli was very fresh, and mashed potatoes were amazing. Very cool atmosphere and location.
Good place to eat. I get the mixed reviews though. Some items are not up to par. Bacon is horrible as previously stated. Stick to basic and simple items. Turkey and eggs sandwich is promising.
I had the ultimate blt and the pesto veggie sandwich. Couldn't decide so I got both...they were delicious. Food came right out it seemed. I would definitely go back.
All Good is All Good. I bring clients here all the time. The reason? The food is just comfortable and good every time. Best grilled cheese in the business. The spinach salad with salmon is outstanding. My friends often dip into the chicken fried steak, I have yet to order any thing from breakfast to dinner there that does not knock the socks off of any of my guests. Well managed, great looking place and the food is All Good with local produce and locally sources meats and fish (as much as possible). You will not be disappointed.

Excellent food.... Everything was wonderful. Probably the best salad I have ever had- goat cheese, tomatoes, sprouts, red onions, shrimp, and avocados. So good!
A perfect place to eat. The staff was kind and spot on. The restaurant is a cozy and nice. The food was simply amazing. I loved the decorations and the cups they used. They also have live music.
We ordered lunch from here today for 8 people. From the time of order, through being ready and picked up and delivered went really smooth and happened totally about 30 minutes. Our food arrived warm, everything was as ordered, and they were large helpings for a lunch order. 2 people got the chicken fries chicken and it was pretty big. I ordered the spicy chicken sandwich. Mine was very good and medium on spicy, but I like spicy so it may seem not as spicy to me, I could have used more. Everyone liked the food had no issues on flavor or presentation, everything was great! Will eat at AllGood Cafe again!
Great service, authentic diner feel. I ordered the breakfast #1. The service staff is always welcoming and their prices are fair, breakfast was $14 and a good sized portion. They sometimes have live performances in the evening on weekends.
Best breakfast! This is my absolute favorite place to go for breakfast. Their other food is just as amazing. I love to get the Hat Trick (pictured below) since it gives you a little bit of everything. My mom had the chicken fried steak and said it was the best she has ever had. Also you can’t go wrong with a carafe of Mimosas. They have the perfect balance between wine and juice. The meters offer free parking before 6pm so park at meter instead of one of the lots
Had a great dinner, we had the Allgood Cafe Fried Chicken Sandwich Hot with chips and two types of salsas all was great. The waitress super attentive and over all great service. No live music tonight the patrons had a funeral viewing and they had a video display of all the great music the former musician did. Great atmosphere and would be live music blues I believe. A must visit on Deep Ellum area.

World famous chicken fried steak was pretty damn good. Mash potato's were pretty good and mac and cheese was alright. Friendly staff. Live music plays there but I was in a rush so couldn't stay.
This was my first time, but I will definitely be back, I wanted to try everything!!! Love the vibe, I also seen that they have live music in the evening, I was there in the morning! But I highly recommend this place!!!

The staff was very friendly and seated me at the bar even though it was busy. I had the “World’s Best” Country fried steak. The steak was awesome but the grits needed cheese. I would recommend getting the breakfast potatoes. The Willies Blood Mary Mornin was nice and tangy but small. I give this little brunch spot a 5/5 for service and a 4/5 on the brunch food I enjoyed.
I absolutely love this place. Food is southern comfort at its best! Great waitstaff!
Great local downtown breakfast spot. Went in with the wife, located near downtown area. Pancakes were thick and delicious, really enjoyed scenery.
