Chicken Scratch - Dallas - Photo album

Great concept, fun outdoor area, but for the price the food was majorly disappointing. Nothing spicy about the Nashville hot chicken and waffles. I was missing the sweet/salty/spicy combo I love about chicken and waffles. Also, other pictures a big piece of chicken for this dish, but we were literal
Very good fried chicken, a little over priced. Nice place, plenty of sauces. The fried pickles were great, huge chunks of dill pickles. Would definitely go back. A little hard to find, but worth the hunt. Had an order of the chicken and coconut waffles also, very good, the coconut was a nice additio
Dined in. This spot was a spontaneous stop after a rangers game. First time there, got there early. Atmosphere was very nice. Pretty pricey in my opinion since we weren’t offered any kids meal options so paid $100 for lunch. The coconut tenders were delightful. For $14 a meal per kid (3 children) it
Pretty good experience over all. Nice decor, and a great social space for get-togethers. The food was enjoyable and would definitely return. The only knock is that we had some pieces of chicken that were extremely salty.
I absolutely loved this place!!! It feels like you're walking into a chicken coop or barn of some sort. 😊 There is oldie but goody music playing in the speakers that you can enjoy the moment you walk into the premisis. My friend who was visiting from Atlanta, GA suggested it from it being reviewed o
Amazing fried chicken. The vibes here are also nice! A wedding reception was going on, and it added to the nice ambience of my dinner date. The combination of perfect weather, perfect night, great live music, and great fried chicken has me wanting to come back here already!
Loved the food, the atmosphere, and the bar! 2022 Update: The nostalgia of this place tasted better than the actual food. Sadly it just doesn’t compare to what it was before the new ownership.
Food was amazing and way more than we expected it to be the portions were large. Drinks were good and refreshing. I especially liked the children’s space with balls, bubbles random knick knacks for them to play with. Definitely a cute little family spot. Best part is we get to have left overs for la
Nice outdoor eating experience with good food. It was a bit confusing how to order and where to sit but once you figure it out you’re good.
The fried tenders tasted good but we're not crispy. The biscuits are big & dense so don't let the $2 each turn you away from trying them. They no longer have the biscuit sandwiches seen in many pics/reviews. The mac-n-cheese is fantastic. Cool atmosphere.
Great chicken. Fried moist crispy tasty. The chicken tamales were excellent as was the service. The setting/outdoor steering area was great. Would love to come back.
The chicken alone is exceptional, but paired with the excellent sides and outdoor experience alongside The Foundry makes for an awesome time. Gotta get the red sauce and mustard if you go with strips. Wife and mother swear by the chicken and waffles enough that I trial and errored my way into repro
The chicken and coconut waffle is heaven. Service friendly and quick food delicious. Hard to find from outside.
Food drinks and atmosphere is awesome. Kid and older adult Friendly. Get the chicken biscuit yall.
I've been coming here over 2 years and this place has improved greatly! This meal came out minutes after ordering! Great environment, great people!
Fun, hipster, laid back locale with old fashioned fried chicken, great bar, and music. Come casual & enjoy the outdoor venue.
