Food her is amazing. Great food but service is slow.
Tried lamb skewers with some lamb eggplant. It was awesome taste. This was one of the best Mediterranean reassurance in this area.
Service was kinda of cold and slow. Not sure if the server didn't understand the English or was some other issue. I think they were under staff on the weekends as well. But I guess food was worth waiting.
They have hookah and bar as well if you wants to try while you wait for food.

The food and cocktails were delicious. Everyone working there was super nice. They have a ton of vegetarian options which is awesome for us. Tons of non-vegetarian options too, our friend had some lamb and said it was delicious as well. The Middle Eastern take on a Manhattan was insanely good, I will absolutely be back to have another one of those (and more delicious food too). There was even a belly dancer there when we went (on a Friday night). Also, if you want to smoke hookah that's an option outside, and if you have kids you can sit inside and there is no smoke there. The decor is also nice. Oh and their baba ghanoush was delicious too.

This kebab house is located in Trinity Groves. They have great wait staff and service. The inside is modern and clean. The food is good but limited on options, it's a kebab house and kebabs are the main attraction. However, there are other options and everything tasted great. There is optional patio seating that is open all year.
After eating, there are a few dessert shops nearby and the pedestrian bridge for nice city views.

Sooo much flavor! The hummas was creamy, the lamb kababs, rice and vegatables were so flavorful. The dessert was also very tasty. I finally found a Mediterranean place i love.

Service was excellent. Carlos was great. The food was good. It's not your typical Mediterranean food place as they have a different take on it.

Amazing food and a good customer service. Good ambience. U can definitely try this place if you love Mediterranean food. Dance and music made the evening much more fun and enjoyable. Would definitely recommend this place to a friend.

Really good! Got the Falafel Bowl and a side of fries. I love Falafel. Would have liked to see a little more bulk in the Falafel Bowl (like a little more lettuce or something). But the flavors we're spot on.

Great option for Moroccan & Mediterranean cuisine with a huge Patio and live entertainment on weekends.
The Mezza Platter was a great way to try all kinds of dips. The cocktails are really cool with a flare of spice. Lamb Tagine was flavorful, maybe a tad on the dry side but enjoyed the meal!

Wonderful ambiance! Great location! Food was stupendous. We had an appetizer with several sauces and Naan bread which I could have made a meal from
Rosemary chicken and kabobs were absolutely delicious!

First time eating here but really enjoyed the food and variety. Staff was very friendly and helpful answering our groups questions.

Awesome food if you're craving Mediterranean flair, very cool ambiance. The mint spice tea is an absolute must try.

Excellent place! Hookahs are amazing drinks are delicious and the staff is incredibly friendly and attentive. Ambience is so nice. The music playing sets the tone and the sound of the birds in the trees by the patio give it an even more exotic appeal. I came all the way from Atlanta Georgia and this place did NOT disappoint. Not to mention it was a little chilly on the patio because I came at night and one of the staff gave me a blanket😊. Thank you for your hospitality!!

I would give it a 10 stars if I could. My experience was nice. The waitress was very nice. My food was awesome. I had a plate that pnsisted of a grilled 1/2 a chicken pver. Zucchini and rice. The hickems was rubbed with some of the most delicious flavors. Oh it was good!
The spiced mixed drink was good too a well as the moscato wine. Perfet atmosphere and decor. Some kind of net or cirtain would be good at entrance. The rain brought a couple of flys. But not a major issue.
On my way out I noticed the hookah things and asked about it. So, I tried the hookah for my first time ever in the patio area...which could use some pillows on th benches. (I could make them some...I am crafty and sew.) The Mangager introdued himself when I had asked about tje hookah. Very professional and friendly.
I have had Mediterranean food before, but this was by far the best. Loved the tea. I missed havong something hot/spicey. But I totally recommend it. I should be blogging about this.

We went for our 31st wedding anniversary and were so glad we did. Able was outstanding as wait staff and the food delicious. Ken had lamb tagine. The spices added to the lamb dish made it taste like one if the best lamb dishes we have ever had. I enjoyed the trout dish and it was one of the best fish dishes I have had in a while and I was in Galveston about three weeks ago, just for the seafood. We enjoyed the ambience and the music. Can't wait to return.

My mother and I recently went to check out Trinity Groves, and we arrived around 3:30 or so in the afternoon. Having never been there before, we wanted to look at all of the restaurants before making a decision. We were looking at the menu for Souk posted in the window, when the waiter came out, warmly greeted us, and asked if we had any questions. We explained that we wanted to look around, and he understood, it being only the second place we'd come to, and the first actually open. He thanked us for looking, and hoped we would come back. He was the only person at any of the restaurants who even said hello when we were looking at menus at all the other places. I love Mediterranean food, and was happy with how we had been treated just for looking at the menu, so we went back for our early dinner.
We could not have made a better choice. Everything was wonderful, starting with the hot tea, which is so beautifully fragrant, and served with just the right amount of sweetness. Tea is one of my great loves, so this was very important to me.
For appetizers we had the salad of mixed greens with olives, and the oh so fantastic hummus. The pita bread served with it was warm, slightly chewy, but the hummus was definitely the star at that point.
Then came our entrees. Lamb Shwarma served on a bed of more hummus (yay!), with a mix of pickled vegetables on the side. Very, very tasty. The other was Lamb Tagine, and it was so flavorful and tender, you didn't even need to use your knife. The richness of the lamb was well complimented by the accompanying subtle sweetness of butternut squash, apricots, and raisins, served on a bed of light and fluffy couscous. Our waiter said they could substitute rice if you didn't like couscous, but why would you do that? It's delicious!
We were too stuffed at this point to even think about dessert, and had to pack up quite a bit of our entrees in carry out boxes, as we had enjoyed our appetizers a bit too much, and the portions are extremely generous.
The decor and atmosphere is very simple, but charming, and I love the open kitchen with the wood burning oven. I sat facing where I could watch our food being prepared, because I like that kind of thing.
Our waiter was also infinitely patient with us, and answered our many, many food questions, talked with us about different things, and even took a picture with my phone for us, so we could be in the shot along with all of the food on our table.
We will definitely be going back, and soon. My mom and I have already talked about how fun it would be to get some friends together and go and sit on the patio with a hookah (yep, they have those, and lots of flavors, too), with some of that delicious hot tea and a plate of hummus. They do also serve alcohol, but I'm not much of a drinker, so I can't really comment on that.
Thank you, Souk, for a wonderful meal, and a delightful experience. It is rare these days to find a place that is genuinely warm and inviting, where a customer is made to feel like they are welcome and important, and not simply another body walking through the door.

I think Souk is very comfortable inside and out, made so by quality furnishings, warm decor, and friendly staff. My family and I have nothing but praise for the food. We recommend the large, communal appetizer tray (could be a light meal), the salads and goat cheese cigars, the skewered steak, and the lamb tagine. Our desserts were both fabulous and exotic: chocolate mousse with a Moroccan coffee boost and quite possibly the best (not overly sweet) baklava in our experience. We will be back!

This place is the best!
You can not find a more attentive, helpful and welcoming staff anywhere!
We have been there several times and it has always been fantastic.
I love how the staff engage you and do everything they can to have you enjoy your visit.
If you have not tried them yet you need to, you won't regret it!

Delicious food! Our waiter was great also! The food was promptly served and it had a great presentation. The restaurant itself is very quaint and really cozy. When it came to the appetizer I loved the beef cigars!

This is the second time I have been to Souk and both times have been amazing. Great food, great price and great atmosphere. Our waitress Nicole was the best. We will be asking for her any time we visit (so she's not allowed to leave ever). Greatest drink ever is the Spice Trade.

First time eating here. Our wait staff were very attentive. Even the chef talked to us. Everything we tried was outstanding. Love the interior of the restaurant too. Highly recommend the baba ganoush, baked baby egg plant, salmon and the cauliflower was divine. We'll definitely be back.

I had a GREAT Experience at Souk's! Our food was delicious and the server. Alie was very helpful and attentive. I will definitely return. Loved the atmosphere and price point.
Tracy Hendricks-Cortesi
We loved the atmosphere and the service was spectacular! James was our server, and he made our night! We only had drinks, but if the food is as good as the atmosphere, the service, and the drinks, we cannot wait to try it!
Catherine OBrien
The food was absolutely delicious. Fig martini, chicken kabob with roasted vegetables, saffron rice, and OMG, the creme brûlée and coffee. I the spices. Wait staff was so attentive.
Jaime Suarez
Yasser is a great restaurant owner, making his way around the room checking on everyone. Abel was our very attentive waiter and the food was exceptional. We'll be back soon!

I am so torn about this review. The food was SO GOOD. The atmosphere was fun, and the area is great! But the service... it was not so great. Our waiter wasn't mean or rude, but slow... so very slow. We had a reservation. It took a while to.find parking so we were about 4 min late for it... but when we got to the stand we were asked to stand in a rather long line of people waiting for tables. The attendant finally got to us and did skip us ahead a few and seat us when he finally got another outside table ready, but they were clearly.not very well organized. Once seated it took about 10 minutes to get our waiter and water. Drinks came pretty quickly, apps significantly slower... the waiter never showed back up until our apps were well completed to take our order... the food took a while but was warm and so good. I had the fish. My hubby had the lamb. We intended to order dessert and drinks after but we never saw our waiter again... another 40 minutes or so and my husband finally went to find anyone who could track down our check so we could just leave. All in all not the best experience even with the great food :( which I hate! Dinner for 2 took about 2 and a half hours... Definitely need some service help!

Unfortunately the food service was slow which was strange because it wasn't busy at all.. We sat near the window however we had guests.. apparently there is some sort of repellent that is literally a fly magnet. Our waiter moved us over one table which did help.. after waiting what had to have been close to 40 minutes for a Fattoush salad and Shawarma sandwich, the food was just ok. Love Trinity Groves but not sure we will be back to Souk.
Sunshine Goodman
Very good food and great service. A little on the pricey side but well worth it! The hummus is to die for 🤤

The goat cheese rolls were amazing. We also enjoyed the hummus, skewers and cauliflower. The patio has a great atmosphere we had a great time!

We decided to go out for hookah today and choose this place. Well we were treated very poorly, specially by the manager. We ask if we could have the heaters on outside and the response was “you want to seat outside?” We would of be ok if someone said hey sorry about this we had a large crowd yesterday and we ran out of gas, no the managers response was “we were busy yesterday can’t turn them off and what do you want from me?” Great customer service!!. I will not recommend this to any one and definitely will never go back there!
