Review Fireside Pies - Dallas

Larry Smith
Enjoyed the pizza we ordered, but it was a little weird. Strawberry balsamic with chicken. The strawberry part was jam that replaced the sauce. The pizza was good but too sweet. We asked for bleu cheese crumbles to offset the sweetness. Garlic bites were good as well. Overall, it was a good experience and a relaxing time.

Love Fireside pies! The Shrimp scampi and the mushroom arugula pie cannot go wrong. Ask for Balsamic Chicken topping on Burrata pesto pie. They do add new flavours every now and then, I only wish they do that more often!
Mary Holstine
Delicious artisan wood fired pizzas! Casual and cozy atmosphere, patio available, good selection of pizzas or make your own. 1/2 price wines on the Wednesday I was there. Loved the signature meatball appetizer! Happy to support this local restaurant! Great service too!
Faith
We love Fireside! The waitstaff is always very attentive and friendly and there's great food and drinks to match! You can substitute any topping on specialty pizzas, but I promise you won't go wrong with any one of them. The salads are really good too, and are more than enough for two. We recommend the Balsamic Chicken and Medi pies, and the Moscow Mule and Grapefruit Rickey for drinks.
Nicholas Martin
The stuffed pepper appetizer might be one of the best things ever tasted. Great experience and great pizza. Hard to go wrong based on everything we ordered, but you would highly recommend you try some peppadews.

Please follow us on Facebook and Instagram at SNDTravels. First time here. Nice ambiance as we sat in front of the fireplace. Diane has the Prosciutto and Parm and I had the Premium Meats. Everything was good except for the Prosciutto on mine which had been cut thick and ended up being too tough. The rest of it was great. They ended up not charging me for mine because of the Prosciutto even though I ate the whole thing. Nice spot for wood fired pizza. Service was great. Definitely would try them again.

This place was recommended by a friend on the basis of the thin, crispy but soft crust. We order the balsamic chicken and medi and the freshness did not disappoint! Chasi and Amanda were charismatic waitresses who made sure were taken care of at all times. My new go to for pizza!!
Earth King
I'm not the biggest fan of thin crust but this is an experience Large beautiful windows to see the city move by and an intimate outside area. It is great for 1-4 people. Can do more but thats the sweet spot. Maybe better for a date, double date situation. Kids will love the food but its not cicis. Its not about getting full. Selection of salads and a few dishes to balace it out. This location is relaxed with a city feel. Good parking a plus.

The foods were good. I was served with a sample drink before I made my choice and it was just great. The inside and outside space is great. You might have some parking problem during busy hours. Overall it was a very good and enjoyable visit.

I've long heard about Fireside Pies from friends, and finally was able to check out what the hype was all about. Absolutely incredible pizza. Definitely believe the hype!

Levi Lascsak
Amazing gluten free pizza and the staff is pretty cool to.
Landon Starnes
Raymond was our server and he was a step above the rest.. so kind, so professional and so gracious. Great God and outstanding service!
Dan Brunner
The pizza was delicious. We also had the gluten free flour crust which was good. They also have a cauliflower crust available. The prices were high given the size but the quality and flavors lived up to the cost. It was surprisingly filling.
Ross Tompkins
Friendly service, solid pie and cool neighborhood. There is limited free parking but there is on site valet. Just use the valet and throw the hard working guys a few bucks in tips.
William Anthony
One of my favorite places and one of their locations. Great atmosphere, good service and good food. Arugula salad is my favorite and of course their pizzas!
Kathryn Romberger
The manager was very nice, super friendly, and was all around great and is definitely one of the two reasons why the restaurant is getting five stars. The other was the delicious food and how fast it took. However our server was lacking, she didn’t bring anything we asked for and then whenever we were putting our money together came over picked it up and asked a question about if we needed her to explain something or something along the lines of that. Which normally is fine, but she said it rudely and like we couldn’t figure out how to divvy up the bill/tip. It was too bad we had already put her undeserving 20% tip in there.

While in Dallas stopped at this quaint little spot. Took the servers recommendations on her faves and she was on point. Great food! Highly recommend.

My husband and I found this place on Yelp and we were not disappointed! We had the baked goat cheese and the prosciutto and parm pizza--amazing! Such a cute atmosphere feels fancy but actually very casual! We can't wait to go back!
Rena Smithweck
Service was great. Tried their meatballs as a appetizer and their Funghi pizza, both were amazing!! Crust was super thin cooked perfectly and the pizza had a perfect amount of toppings! Didn't feel guilty at all for eating pizza because the crust was so light! Cant wait to go back. Thank you Fireside Pies!!
Fred Johnson
Fireside Pies is the only place where you walk in and they remember your name and treat you like a king/queen. Food is great, atmosphere is like home, and the staff is like your family. What better can you ask for.
Beth Ballew
Great pizza and salad. Now if they will just add Ft. Worths butter noodles it would be perfect

My wife and I were there yesterday 10-6-17, it had been a while since our last visit and we remembered having a nice chacuterie platter there So we were ready for a nice evening but then, we could not find the item on the menu. Our waitress Angel who was excellent, very attentive and nice went to get the manager to talk to us. The manager Heather Cary was perfection, everything you want in customer service. Not only did she take the time to talk to us and ask specifically what we liked, she made it herself! It was beautiful! We were so happy! We even took a picture of it to show our friends. Thank you Heather & Angel for making our night so special!
Connie Parker
Went at off peak time so it wasn't too busy. First time there for us and it was a great experience. Salad was huge, pizza was great and dessert was fantastic! Will definitely go back. Wish I could add pics!
Larry Cole
We have enjoyed this location many times over the last few years. We always get great food and wonderful service. We have tried all their pies and most of the salads, and have never been disappointed.
Jeremy Zeno
What's not to love about this place! Great staff, great environment and great pizza!
Rebekah Yates
I had a large party of almost 30 people and Fireside Pies did a wonderful job of accommodating us and making sure we had everything we needed. Plus, they have great gluten free pizza! Thanks for helping me celebrate!!
Anissa Madrill

Every time I come here the staff is friendly and the the food is amazing!! Been coming here for years and I will be coming here many more.
Eric Gormly
This is our favorite restaurant in the city. The food, the atmosphere, the bar ... the diversity of the clientele, the eclectic mix of lovely, bright creative people who work there and run the place. Heather, the manager, is the best!
Amanda Culhane
Fun bar and great food!!! Thank you Heather you made our experience there so fun and memorable! Next time we are in town we will be back for sure. Loved the sangria!!!
Sheryl Floyd Brower
We have been to the Henderson location of Fireside Pies quite a few times. Always a great place, from drinks to food. Service always very good as well.
Heidi Danner
I can not say enough great things! We are not from Dallas and only in town for one night. The staff was so incredibly friendly and made us feel like we were at home. They went above and beyond to accommodate us I will most defiantly be back and would recommend this place to everyone!!!
Carol Wood Taylor
It is my favorite place to eat..!!!!! We get the brushetta and Texas bibb salad with balsamic chicken on top. Delicious!!!!!
Billie Broadstone
My favorite place for a great salad and pizza. Highly recommend.
Terry Savoie
We (wife and I) loved the pizza. We tried the North Beach and both really liked the flavor profile. Nice casual date spot.
Dora Platero
No need to go to Rome to eat authentic Italian Pizza and the chocolate brownie is amazing 😋😋
Wilbert Grinsven
Go visit and hang out with Dev, Heather and my all time favorite Edgar. Love this place, love the people.
Michael Piccione
Awesome pizza 🍕. Had a great evening with friends.
Gayle Julian
Wonderful food and drinks. The staff was extremely friendly and knowledgeable. Location seemed small so it was very crowded. Otherwise, good.
Terrance Brooks
Truly grown and sexy pies. For the discriminating pallet.
Mark Reinheimer
Awesome night at Fireside Like usual . Great friends, service wine and food who needs more?
Fred Edgar
The salads are wonderful and the pizzas are devine. It was our first trip to FP and I can't wait to go back. Definitely "FOF-Approved"!
Hoyt Nicole Dunigan

Karen Collins
I Love Fireside Pies! They're the best..We need one in Sarasota!!
Kyle Boehme
Hands down my favorite pizza place in DFW. Awesome service, great atmosphere, and delicious food and fresh cocktails.
Lo Ayala
Awesome place with amazing pizza and salads definitely can't wait to go back.

Probably the best pizza in Dallas. Have eaten several varieties, and they've all been utterly delicious, fresh, and elevated. Everytime. Even delivered. Their foundational components are really great - dough, sauce, cheese blend. Add to it the gourmet toppings, and you've got a five star pizza.
Himanshi Singhal
Great burgers and maybe the best onion rings anywhere. Super friendly servers and my food came out quickly. The shakes we awesome!Great burgers and maybe the best onion rings anywhere. Super friendly servers and my food came out quickly. The shakes we awesome!

Loved the Fireside cheese salad. It has mixed greens, hearts of romaine, four cheese blend, chopped tomatoes and roasted red pepper ranch dressing. Be prepared for the hot & crumble pie! It has house-made spicy Italian sausage, garlic ricotta and diced tomatoes. Absolutely wonderful.
Neil Burman
Consistently good pie. I like the peta pie and the pizza with the sausage. The burrata is very good as well. If only they would spruce up their wine list. It needs some new additions.<br/>
Kileen Valenzuela
Absolutely delicious and more than just pizza! We went here for the first time tonight and let me just say, I was seriously impressed. I'm not a big pizza fan (burned out from my college days) but this place is making me change my tune! The crab claws were back and it is a must-try. Tender juicy mini claws in a lemon butter sauce that had me licking my fingers! <br/><br/>My son had the Straight Pie of 4 cheeses and was in heaven (finished all but 1 slice!). Hubby had the Triple 'Roni Pie and was gushing over how tasty it was (he's not a foodie either but couldn't stop raving). I ordered the Balsamic Chicken and it was seriously sooo good. I live that the crust is thin so the flavor of the toppings really stand out!<br/><br/>Oh and if you're into local beers, this place will hook you up. Hubby enjoyed his favorite Four Corners brew and was a happy man.
Allison Beard
Love coming here. We ordered to go the other night and I got the 5 cheese salad. It was topped with my favorite dressing of theirs. It's a ranch that has roasted red peppers! So yummy. I usually order a side of the dressing to go with my pizzas. I recommend the meatballs as an app. Any of the pizzas are a good choice. You really can't be disappointed here.
IttyBittyFoodies
This is a total hipster place. The pizzas are fantastic but the waits are a bit long for us sometimes ESP with a toddler in tow. But if you can ditch the kids and wait it out, it's totally great. Lol. Enjoy beers on the patio with a perfect pie
The H Is For...
YES YES YES YES!!!! I love this place! The only reason I don't go every single week is because I need to not spend a ton of money on food, because when we go here, my husband and want to order everything on the menu! Their GF pizza crust is better than the regular (or so says my husband)!<br/><br/>Here are our favorites:<br/>The Baked Goat Cheese (you have to ORDER it GF)<br/>The Texas Bibb Salad<br/>The Peta Pizza -- add grilled chicken and jalapeños<br/>The Balsamic Roasted Chicken Pizza -- add goat cheese and jalapeños <br/>The Grapefruit Ricky

LOVED this place. Went for the first time last night and experienced all things peach! First we had a peach Burrata Salad with arugula and a sweet balsamic glaze...so delicious. While waiting for course #2 we sipped on muddled peach white wine sangria with a little kick in it! <br/><br/>For the main course, we shared the Hot n'Crumbled pie which was really good. I was expecting a calzone but it ended up being almost exactly like a pizza (just with bigger crust 🙌🏻) and the best part was the dessert....<br/><br/>Omg I think we both died and went to heaven. This warm peach crisp was to DIE for.
Dorothy Freitag
My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed this restaurant. The sangria had a unique citrus flavor. We started with the artichoke and spinach dip which was served with slices of Parmesan pizza crust. Then, we shared a hot n crumbled pizza featuring spicy sausage. We added some mushrooms. It was delicious and cooked just right. Overall, an enjoyable meal.

Fireside Pies was an incredible restaurant! By far the best pizza I have ever had. They have a great, enjoyable atmosphere, and great music. I definitely recommend it. I will be going back the next time I am in Dallas.
Kate Scott
Their appetizers are the best thing they sell (highly recommended). Most of the pizza is greasy....
Jacque O
Just ok. I went with a friend of mine, who usually goes to a different location. We were both somewhat disappointed with the sangria- very watered down. The pizza was also a little disappointing, it wasn't bad, it just wasn't really worth returning for either. Apparently the other location is much better. Service was ok. Went back a second time just for drinks and again found them sub-par. <br/>Up-side: nice outdoor patio<br/>Parking: Oh Lordy, parking and even just driving in this area is terrible during dinner hours!
Sarah Lou
Delicious!!. So good!!! Two words: burratta mozerella!!!! Also the red passion sangria is DELICIOUS! Love this place so much!!!!! Usually come once a week!
Jason Craddock
Worth the wait. It is a wait to get in on the weekends, but the pizza, large salads, and beer are worth it. The ceaser salad will feed at least two people. The pizzas are dynamite - hot, thin crust, fresh toppings. The staff is excellent as well.
Rachel
Love this place. This location is my favorite. Amazing salads, great pizza.
Fashion Diva
The best pizza ever!! Love the sangria, the salads and brushetta!!
Champagne Gangsta
Love it!. Hadn't been in awhile. Food is just as good if not better than before! Def in my top 3 Pizza places in Dallas. Recommend the Peta Pie & the Jimmy's sausage! Not traditional but gr8! Try it!
Tim Krause
There are better places for pizza. Don't get me wrong, their food is really good. But there are better places with shorter wait times.
Melanie
This is my first visit back to Fireside after probably about 8 years. It is really terrific! If only it were bigger! But of course that's part of the atmosphere. We did call ahead and that trimmed about an hour off our wait time. Even luckier than that, 2 seats opened at the bar and we ate there even sooner. The service was just fine at the bar and we didn't mind being squished in for the tradeoff to eat sooner. The menu is so appealing it was hard to decide. I had the salad that I cannot name right now because their website won't load. But it was the one with hearts of palm. It could have been a perfect meal. But I also ordered a veggie pizza, again don't know the name but it had pine nuts, red peppers and arugula. Perfect. My husband enjoyed the pepperoni pizza. Good wine selection by the glass.
Sean
Very Good Pizza. This is seriously some of the best pizza I have ever had. We ordered a Triple Roni and a Molten Meatball pizza at our table. The Triple Roni was my favorite although it is saturated in grease. So much that it leaves a huge grease ring on the pizza pan. The Molten Meatball pizza did not have a drop of grease on the pan. But it's easy to overlook the grease when you have a little slice of heaven about to enter your mouth. The crust is hand tossed and the torn basil leaves are a nice touch. I hope you like a side of yuppies with your order because they are plentiful at this location.

Yum. The first time I dined here, it was late fall and I was celebrating with some friends. The place was packed and we were having drinks at the bar while we waited on our table. Well, apparently the Cowboys had just finished their game........and a tall great looking gentleman had just walked in the door. I was staring at him because I was sure that I knew him but couldn't remember where I knew him from.......so I said to one of my friends, "I know that guy from somewhere." And she said, "That's Troy Aikman you dope!"<br/><br/>Anyways, my friends still kid me about that. Either way, this place is really cozy and the pies are awesome!<br/><br/>Love to eat here.

It was okay. The crust was good, the ambiance was good (by the fire.. HOT!) The pepperoni pizza was decent.. but the sauce was too sweet, not a fan. And would definitely not get the "fondue" again. Just cooked pizza crust for the "flatbread", then the "fondue" was their pizza sauce with melted cheese on top. Decent pizza, probably won't go back. Only 3 beers on tap -- seasonal Sam Adams, Perioni and Fat Tire.

Perfect Place. We dined outside and was perfect spot for the beginning of a bachelorette party. We ordered salads and pizza to share and it was all amazing. I would definitely recommend. It lent itself to all kinds of diners. There were girly parties like us, families with children, and intimate dates. The wait was a little long, but I didn't mind. It was in a cool spot. Parking was tricky. They have valet, but it seemed full quick. http://smalltownmom-nic.blogspot.com

Neighborhood Favorite!. When I moved to Dallas, this is one of the first places I walked to and was really impressed with the friendly staff and high quality ingredients. I've never had an ok meal there...it's always way above average at least and typically amazing! This place has a special place in our hearts because it's where we had dinner with my now step children the first time I met them. We now take the kids very regularly and love it.<br/><br/>We typically order the triple roni pizza and the mixed appetizer. The kids always get the cheese pizza with no sauce. We always take food home and enjoy it a second time too! <br/><br/>The staff is always accomodating and really good with the kids too!<br/><br/>Cheers to good eats!

I have always liked their pizzas but I had their TMP salad last night and it was amazing. It have tomatoes that were soaking balsalmic, little salami pieces that tasted like bacon bits but better and was in general pretty amazing. I guess Fireside is more than just good pizza.
Lakewood Foodie
Tricked up pies. I like a good, old fashioned pizza. That's probably why Fireside pies is not my favorite pizza joint. Although I can appreciate how it could be good if you like salad and such on your pizza. It's just not for me. Just a personal opinion.
Mark Bernstein
Great pizza and excellent salads, too. Kind of crowded but it is worth it
Mr. Woodcock
Stop at Cuba Liber either before or after for mojotis, Fireside Pies has got some great pizza, Triple Roni is fantastic! Cool place for a unique outdoor atmosphere.
Natalie
Great atmosphere! fireside tables outside, good food and fun staff.
LeslieB
Great atmosphere, salad and pizza in a Dallas hot spot.
Jessica
Great pizza, bad parking, long wait. I would come here more often since the pizza is fantastic, but the parking is awful and the place is always packed and the wait is long.
