Soon as you walk in you’re laughing at the host � Me and my boyfriend walked in and the guy goes “oh y’all can follow your father” *points at Black waiter* Our waiter, Tyrone was the best. Super funny, and friendly, real down to earth. Request him when you come in. Love this place.
Couldn't of had a better first time experience. It's way better than the reviews. This is definitely a great experience amd I just love how down to earth everyone was. Food was great and service was funny!
Maura was awesome! Delivered great service but with that attitude promised! She was personable and super funny! My husband and I live near by and have been putting off checking out the place. Glad we finally stopped in.
The drinks are great and strong especially for the price which is awesome! And the food was honestly pretty good. My husband got the sirloin with broccoli and fries and he loved it. I got the burger which was a classic delicious burger. We also had the fried pickle which are a must! Also we took our baby and he basically slept the whole time so it wasn’t too loud or anything. We will definitely be going more often and would love to bring a group of friends out for a fun entertaining evening out!!!
It's one of the best cheeseburgers I've ever had. Fun place to eat with friends and family, with good food and atmosphere! The best place to eat in Downtown Dallas in my opinion.
Enjoyable place. Took my 15 year old and his buddies for a birthday dinner. Went on a Tuesday night when they weren’t crowded. A quick memorable dinner was had. Server played the part and gave us some laughs.
Food was actually pretty good, which was a bonus to the entertainment.
You need to understand what this place is about before going there. The whole premise is poor service and rude staff. That said, they're actually good wait staff and play the role very well. They'll joke and mess with you, which is fun. The food is good and reasonably priced. The burger was perfectly cooked and very juicy. My wife's fish and chips was outstanding. It's definitely worth a visit but be warned about the whole premise because it can be surprising if you aren't ready.
This place is hilariously on point. Everything from the atmosphere, to the experience, to the team, to the food, everything is supreme! I loved it. Difficult to get parking nearby, but that doesn't seem to affect it. Everything is top notch.
We came in to find that they only had one server, one bartender, one manager and one host working. They were able to get everyone sat and the bartender absolutely made our night! He had us rolling the entire night! The food was great, drinks even better, but the entertainment and time spent with the kids was worth it! We will be back again!
Had our company Christmas party dinner here on Friday.Our server Jazz was amazing. Her insults and service was on point! Our team absolutely loved her! I hope I have her again when I return .

Out waitress, MAURA, was literally the BEST waitress we’ve EVER HAD!!! She’s funny, attentive, honest, and has us ROLLING THE ENTIRE TIME! Girl deserves a raise! Anyone who goes here should be honored she dubbed them as her table! Go here and give her some love!!
Maura was amazing. Went for my husbands birthday and she new just how to keep us entertained while we waited for our orders. The commentary was 10/10 she even kept a my little ones in good spirits.
Didn’t care for the attitudes and over the top rudeness at Vegas. Felt forced and just mean. Rebecca totally changed my opinion of Dick’s Last Resort. Just the right amount of ornery with the real amount of real person. Will definitely come back when in town and also make me try any others we find.
Update. We were able to get down here again (9/15/23) with kids this time. Once again we surprisingly got Rebecca and once again not surprisingly got amazing service. Perfect combination of great service, attention to detail and the perfect amount of Dick’s Last Resort attitude.
