Good, fast service and wonderful food (and drinks - - loved my frozen margarita served in a beer mug)! Not super expensive, and well worth the cost. I highly recommend it.
This place is perfect for brunch!! The patio is amazing and Adam was the coolest server.
Enjoyed dinner here and the food was EXCELLENT. Great location in Oak Lawn- be sure to bring your parking ticket inside to get validated before you leave. Only issue was the service which was slightly an issue. Kind and courteous but very slow. Granted, there were multiple large parties but they seemed short-staffed. Still, great food and cool decorations at that location.
Roberto was our waiter and he was absolutely amazing! He recommended drinks to us that were really good, and will definitely have me going back.

Camilla was at the front-hostess and “forgot” to seat us even though she had taken down our name & phone number. We had been at the bar waiting so finally we went back up to ask her so we were then seated promptly after. At the bar we had Anna and she was great! Nice & attentive, our drinks were all so good! Tried the strawberry frozen margarita, Fridia drink & the sangria on the rocks. Juan was our server and he was so great as well! Tried the Botanas appetizer, & all our entrees were so delicious! Food was great definitely recommend it. They have seating outside as well. There was another gentleman helping and was also very attentive.
Both locations are wonderful spots for a family meal. Great service & great food. Salsa was fresh and delicious, as was the house special queso.
My favorite is Mole chicken enchiladas. I stop by for these when I’m in town for a visit. Wouldn’t miss them!
The restaurant is in a new location. You can sit outside when it's warm. They have happy hour, which is nice. I shared the Faghitas with a friend, but it wasn't enough for us both, especially if you're hungry. Also, a teenager could have eaten it and taken the rest home for him or herself. Overall it was tasty. I would go back.
I had a good experience. I appreciated the decor for seating and even the photo wall near the bathroom. I was happy the restrooms were clean as well. Salsa came out quick and a refill to follow. The staff was very attentive to our needs. I ordered the chicken chimichanga topped with chili con queso. I found disappointment because it seemed as though I received plain queso; and it dry up quick and was cold when it came out… definitely recommend topping your chimichanga with something different at this location. Side portion was small compared to Bae sides. Bae ordered the beef enchiladas… the beef was a little dry but enjoyed the meal overall. We also ordered drinks……which will be the reason we will return regardless of the happy hour or not. One drink was enough… two had Bae on his a**… Lol. I was very impressed with the drinks options and pricing. Yolanda thank you for your awesome service!
Roberto has been waiting on me for years. Every time I come in I am greeted as family. As I usually dine alone, I still enjoy the conversations we have. He remembers my drink order, fills my drink without asking.
He is a treasure and Mattito’s should be proud. The food is always delivered hot and quickly. I love it because it is consistent. I have a few favorite dishes and they are the same every time I come in. Thanks Mattito’s and Roberto for making my lunches a great getaway.
Really enjoyed my time here. Fast service, went during happy hour, so I had multiple drinks with my delicious food. Ask for Roberto, very professional and personable. Will be back, for sure!
